Maximiliano Gastón López was born on April 3, 1984 on the Federal capital on Buenos Aires, Argentina.
From a very young age, his passion was playing soccer, so his parents decided to include him in the club Maldonado Star.
From that moment on, he did not leave a single day of training and was quickly accepted into the lower divisions of the River plate.
His father died before he came of age, so it was his hope that he could support his family by playing soccer.
His dream came true on July 22, 2001 when he debuted in the First Division of Argentine soccer at just 17 years old.
Little by little he was emerging as one of the best scorers in the team, and his ownership was inescapable.
