Fey, baptized as María Fernanda Blásquez Gil, was born on July 21, 1973 in Mexico City. His mother was an Argentine singer and her father a Spanish bass player, so when Fey was just a child she moved to Spain, settling in for three years.
When returning to Mexico at the age of 7 he began taking ballet classes, jazz, guitar and acrobatics at the insistence of his parents, who wanted him to be part of the world of music just like them. For this reason, she also takes music classes and at age 10 she appears in a contest for a television program called Xe-Tu, where she is the winner and can do a duet with Luis Miguel.
Upon learning that the record company Sony Music is beginning to do auditions, Fey does not hesitate to introduce himself and in 1995 Antonio Berúme hires her to record an album that he simply calls Fey, where he releases as the first single the Mean orange theme.
As it was well received by the public, just one year later, it can launch its second production, Tierna la noche, highlighting the single Bitter sugar, which quickly becomes a hit.
Soon he manages to sell more than a million records and records a Portuguese version of songs like Move it, I belong to you and Bitter sugar.
For 1998, the Mexican is elected representative of her country for record the official theme of the World Cup France 98 And after that, she is ready to release her third album, which she called El color de los dreams, from which she releases the single Ni tú ni Nadie.
Fey had a pending tour, but suddenly he cancels the scheduled and decides to withdraw from the artistic medium.
It took three years for him to return to music with his album Vertigo, which was released in 2002, this was a double album, which would include songs in English and another in Spanish. He has a few months to tour, but then he disappears from the stage again.
His fifth album which he baptized as The force of Destiny, appears in 2004, where twelve songs appear, all versions of the Spanish group Mecano.
Faltan lunas was his next album of 2006 but it did not have the expected reception, for that reason three years later he is encouraged to release Sweet temptation, a more daring album that was presented with a live show at the Luna Park Stadium in the federal capital of Argentina.
As other singers have done, in 2012 Fey released a CD + DVD called Primera Fila, a disc with 13 songs of which 10 are hits from his career and the other 3 are unreleased songs.
Before rising to fame, Fey had a relationship with Mauri Stern, a member of the group Magneto, who became her manager, but their relationship was kept private. After a few years, the same singer reported that Stern was no longer her manager and later they ended their romance.
Later she married Lebanese businessman Frederick Traeger but in 2007 they decide to divorce. In 2008, her mother died of cancer and a year later she remarried the businessman Alonso Orozco Soberón, with whom she had asu first daughter named Isabella.
In 2013 and due to her tour All I Am, Fey discovered an infidelity on the part of her husband, which was enough to ask for a divorce at the end of the same year.
