He grew up in Fredericktown, Ohio, where he studied at the Fredericktown High School.
He began his acting career in the 80’s, after participating in the music video for “Be Chrool To Your Scuel” from the band Twisted sister With Alice cooper. By then he had roles in the novels “Loving” Y “Another World”.
In 1990 he landed the role that undoubtedly brought him the greatest success during his career: that of Dylan mckay on “Beverly Hills, 90210”, In which he was the protagonist until 1995, and later, after disappearing for 3 years, he returned in 1998 and remained until the end of it in 2000.
