Luke He had been acting since his teens and, after graduating from the National Theater School of Canada in May 2000, and after appearing in two auditions, he found himself working on two different projects in leading roles: the mini-series “Haven“from CBS / Alliance and produced by director Léa Pool”Lost and delirious“(2001).
Soon after, he played the role of ‘Morgan‘in the Factory Theater production, “Geometry in Venice“presented in Toronto, a performance that earned him a Best Actor nomination at the Dora Mavor Moore Awards. He then played ‘Patroclus‘in the work’Troilus and Cressida“Directed by Sir Peter Hall in New York City.
In 2006, he received critical acclaim for his performance in the play “Jump / Cut“Other theatrical credits include the plays.”Habitat“,”The good life” Y “Defender of the Faith“.
His second feature film was “Halloween: Resurrection“in 2002, which was followed by his leading role in”Italian Mambo“(2003), presented at the Toronto International Film Festival gala, and received with a standing ovation and for which Luke earned a Canadian Comedy Awards nomination.
After the success of “Mambo Italiano”, Kirby he played a role that was written especially for him in the movie “Shattered glass“(2003), produced by Cruise / Wagner. Luke He also accumulates in his career, numerous television roles either as a guest artist or in leading and regular roles in different series.
