Kodi Smit-McPhee was born in June 1996 in Australia; and he is the son of the actor and producer Andy McPhee. Her sister is the actress Sianoa Smit-McPhee.

Kodi studied acting at the Australian school “Drama with a Difference“and debuted before the cameras in 2005, in the Australian film”Stranded“.
