Ketama it was a style music group flamenco-fusion, of Spanish origin, famous for his extensive career in the environment and for being the forerunners of the “New Flamenco”.
Ketama was born there far by 1985, taking his name as a tribute to a people Moroccan from which it is said a herb of the best quality is harvested.
At first the band was composed of Juan Carmona, Jose Soto Y Ray Heredia. All of them came from families with a long flamenco career, not to mention that they were gypsies.
