Through simply selecting your TV provider using the Alexa app, you’ll be able to access information such as availability of the channel show times and more. In a recent update, Amazon’s Alexa helper got a whole lot smarter with integration of Tv providers. You can now set up your Tv provider in the Alexa app and receive useful information. Depending on your Tv provider, the smart assistant will be able to answer questions about show times and channels. Amazon has collaborated with all major television networks in the Us, and more tie-ups are anticipated as the app is expected to be released worldwide in the near future. .029 Figure 2 Photo Courtesy of Aftv Simply open your Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone or Fire TV and head to the Tv Schedule tab in the Settings section. If you don’t see the available setting make sure that your app is updated to the latest version. Simply select your Tv provider in the next menu and you’re good to go. Spectrum Cox Verizon DirecTv and Dish are some of the Us Tv services that have partnered with Alexa. A new “Alexa what’s on TV” command has been introduced to make the smart speaker list available from your TV provider for all networks and display times. Also, users can name the channels or the channel number to get information about a particular channel. If a channel you want to see has Hd or not, the smart assistant will relay too.
