The writer José Luis Corral Lafuente was born on July 13, 1957 in the municipality of Daroca, in the province of Zaragoza. He is also a prestigious historian.
When he finished his Baccalaureate, he decided to enroll at the University and study History, from which he graduated.
Specialized in the History of the Middle Ages, he has starred in various popularization programs both on radio and television. In addition, he works as a professor at the University of Zaragoza, where he teaches Medieval History, being at the same time director of the History Workshop.
As for his facet as a writer, he is the author of a large number of historical novels, as well as other popular works, although always around history.
His first novel was published in 1996, and he gave it the title of “The golden room”. At two years of age he brings to light another two, “The bronze amulet” Y “Red heart”. In 1999 he published “The winter of the crown”.
As of this moment, Corral does not stop publishing, his bibliography being quite considerable. Among the rest of his historical novels we can highlight others such as “God’s number“,”The knight of the temple“,”The Greek mirror “, “The three friends“,”Love and death“,”The Pilgrim’s Codex“,”The heretic doctor“Or”The cursed throne”.

It should also be noted that he was a historical advisor on the film, directed by British Ridley Scott, 1492: The Conquest of Paradise.
He also directed the series “History of Aragon in video”, Work for which he was awarded the silver medal of the XXXIV New York International Television and Video Festival.
