Abby Cessna More Articles Sirius is stepping up its attempts to broaden its radio empire with a next Glen Beck channel which is the former Fox News talk show host. Beck’s service, called “Blaze Radio Network” will be available to nearly 24 million Sirius XM (NASDAQ: SIRI) subscribers. While Beck’s show has been on Sirius XM since May 2010 this is the first one that will have its own dedicated channel for its business. Last June the contract was signed for $100 million. The channel will also have talk shows from other conservative personalities such as Doc Thompson and Jay Severin as well as hosting his own program. AND NEW! In addition, Beck’s company will hourly update the Patriot channel 125 on the conservative Sirius network. Nevertheless, the terms of that contract were not included. Beck’s company recently said in a regulatory filing that they were spending $40 million. It also reported that sales ranged from $25 million to $100 million each year.
