Born on April 25, 1947. He is a former Dutch footballer. Former president of FC Barcelona. Also collaborator of the Catalan federation in sports and social projects His surname is written Cruyff in traditional spelling or Cruijff in Reformed Dutch spelling.

He played for ten seasons in the first team of the Amsterdam Ajax, signing in 1973 for the FC Barcelona, until 1978 to continue in the American Soccer League. It was there that he remained three seasons, with intervals and one season in the Raise UD, then returning in 1981 to the Dutch league.

He was awarded the Ballon d’Or in 1971, 1973 and 1974, a title that he shares with Michel Platiní, Marco Van Basten Y Leo Messi. Cruyff was the most recognized representative of the philosophy of football.
