It is hard to argue against that based on everything that the Duchess of Cambridge has done over the past decade. There’s also a historical precedent in support of the theory. After she tied the knot with Charles in 1981 Princess Diana has been named a princess. Nevertheless, her official title was Diana Princess of Wales. Diana discussed this subtle difference in several interviews but even after divorcing Charles the name stuck. The same could happen with Kate, though by the time William sits on the throne much could happen.
