YouTube Introduces Easier Video Search and Categorization Hashtags ByNitish Singh-July 19, 2018.618 With Twitter popularizing the use of hashtags to find relevant social media content, YouTube adopts a popular feature for quickly locating videos on the site. In the search bar, users will now be able to use hashtags to browse the search engine of the site using video titles and descriptions to find relevant videos. Hashtags will be automatically hyperlinked on the app so users can click on them and find related videos faster than ever before. The search feature of YouTube has been a hit or miss and the algorithm of the video sharing site is less than optimal with criticism coming from both YouTubers and users at the service. YouTube now adopts the function for video titles and descriptions with most social media websites embracing hashtags for easily sorting content on their respective platform. YouTube hashtags already live with only iOs users momentarily left out. Google has yet to issue an official announcement as to when the hashtags will be live for users of Apple iOs. Users can use the hashtags to search for videos that include either the titles or descriptions in the search terms. Clicking a hashtag on YouTube would make it easier for users to find more videos that contain the same hashtag to find content than depending on the hit-or-miss recommendations feature on YouTube. If you want to include a hashtag in your own videos, you simply need to add a ‘ # ‘ to your title or description before any phrase. In a single video you can have up to 15 hashtags, and no spaces are required. Videos that include unrelevant hashtags will be highlighted, and uploaders will be told to remove them. Any type of hate speech vulgarity to fake news or content infringement is also not permitted when using the hashtag feature. Grip.
