The piracy website thinks the retro games would allow Good Old Downloads to significantly expand their catalog. Nintendo has recently been targeting emulation websites and it has certainly raised a lot of controversy. Popular piracy website Good Old Downloads revealed that in the near future retro games from Nintendo and other publishers would be made available on the website. Playing retro games is a popular pastime for many veteran gamers but things have become increasingly difficult with Nintendo taking down the ROM aggressively, and emulation websites. Although it is true that there should be no piracy there are no official channels for gamers to play their favorite old games. Even if users bought physical copies of old games, it would be through third-party resellers of pre-owned games that Nintendo or the developers behind the retro games would not generate revenue. “2/2.1929.jpg” Nintendo has tried to revive retro gaming by relaunching the Super NES Classic with modern hardware and a pack of thirty games.
