Fedor Emelianenko was born in Ukraine a September 28, 1976 son of a fairly modest family, his father was an electrician and his mother was a children’s teacher. Fedor lived with his childhood in Russia, they were four brothers and Fedor was the second of them. They live for a few years in Belgorod.
From a very young age he had a great admiration for contact sport, so he began to practice it when he was still in elementary school. He chose sports from Judo and Anything goes under the direction of Vronov VM And of Gavrilov Vl
Once he finished his studies, he began to train professionally and in 1994 he achieved his first title. For three years he must enter the military service and there he is part of the fighting team, it is precisely here where this fighter loses two teeth. That same year he married Oksana with whom he has a daughter named Masha.
Fedor always wanted to bring his fighting talents to seniors so he gets a Sports postgraduate course Specialized in Anything goes and Judo. It is here where you start your tournaments and your consecutive victories. In 1998 he is champion of Russia and manages to obtain the bronze medal at the Russian National Judo Tournament and an equal bronze medal in the Russian Championship of Anything Goes in Kaliningrad.
He participates in a tournament with the armed forces of Russia and is the absolute winner taking the silver medal as the winner of his category. By 1999 he participated in the Vale Todo international tournament in Moscow and becomes Bronze medal a few months later he became captain and took first place in Istanbul in a international team tournament.
In 2001 he became world champion in the heavyweight category and began to participate in the Pride. For these years, he is already beginning to be recognized as the winner in Greece, Panama, Holland and the United States, where he obtains the title of Anything Goes World Champion.
The most memorable fights are before Semmy schilt (Holland) , Heat herring (the USA) and manages to beat the Pride champion in that time, Antonio Rodrigo Nogeira, taking away the world champion belt that carried him for more than five consecutive years and this is one of the greatest achievements for a fighter of his category.
