The actor Eusebio Lázaro was born in 1942 in the town of Cartagena, in Murcia. He is also a theater director, as well as a translator of the work of William Shakespeare.
Eusebio had a very clear vocation from a very young age, receiving a very deep stage training. In the mid-1960s he moved to Madrid, where he immediately began to play some roles in different plays, at the same time as he dedicated himself to writing film scripts.
We have been able to see him on stage acting and directing a large number of plays, such as “The Other Side”, “Antigone”, “Love Letters to Stalin”, “The Comedy of Errors”, “Medea”, “Ricardo III “Or” Power and villainy “, among many more.
In 1978 the actor created his own theater company, where courses were also given for actors and directors already professionals.
Despite being above all a man of the theater, it has been the cinema and television that have made him famous.
In the cinema he has participated in a large number of films, some of them with highly prestigious directors. Thus, he has filmed “Pepi, Luci, Bom and other girls of the bunch” with Pedro Almodóvar, “Demons in the garden” with Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, “The Russian”, with Mario Camus or “Pan’s Labyrinth” with Guillermo del Toro .
He has worked under the orders of Carlos Saura, in “Taxi”, Pajarico or “Buñuel y la mesa del rey Salomón”, as well as with Luis García Berlanga, in the feature films “All in prison” or “Paris Timbuktu”.
He has been part of the cast of many series and productions of the small screen, such as the feature film “Total”, which José Luis Cuerda directed for television, “The footprint of crime”, in which he starred in the chapter “The case of poisoned women de Valencia ”, or the successful series by Gonzalo Suárez“ Los pazos de Ulloa ”.
He also participated in the series “El Quijote de Miguel de Cervantes”, directed by Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, participating sporadically in other series such as “El comisario”.
In 2001 he became part of the team of actors in the series “Cuéntame como pasa”, in which he stayed until 2008. And, in 2008 he was hired to play Joan Noguera in the telenovela “Amar en tiempo scrambled ”.
