Eric Dane was born in 1972, in San Francisco, California.
His father is an architect and his mother a housewife. He has two younger brothers.
His first television role was in 1991, in an episode of “Saved by the Bell“, And two years later he had a participation in”The Wonder Years”.
His other television credits include: “Silk stalkings“,”Married … with Children” Y “Roseanne”, All during the 90’s.
Already in 2003, he participated in several chapters in the series “Charmed”, But his most remembered role would not come until 2005, when he got the role of Dr. Mark Sloan in the renowned series “Grey’s Anathomy”, Forming part of the fixed distribution of the same.
In the cinema he had several appearances in films such as: “Feast“,”Open Water 2: Adrift“, Y “X-Men: The Last Stand”.
More recently he was seen in the film of Jennifer Aniston Y Owen wilson, “Marley and Me”.
In 2006 he also participated in the television movie “Wedding wars“, in which he plays the brother of a gay man who goes on strike for the right of homosexuals to marry.
Regarding his personal life, in 2004 he married Rebecca gayheart.
It is worth mentioning that at the beginning of 2008 he was diagnosed with an alleged skin cancer, but later he denied this version, threatening to sue those responsible for its publication.
