Actor Eduardo Gómez Manzano was born on July 27, 1951 in Madrid.

He worked in very different jobs, as a waiter, bricklayer or clerk in a department store, among others, and his arrival in the world of interpretation was by chance, in 1994, when he accompanied a friend to the recording of the series ” Oh Lord, Lord! ” and they asked him to do a little role, which he liked so much that it was the beginning of his career.

Since then, Eduardo has participated both in theater performances and in numerous productions for both the small screen and the cinema.

As for this, he began in 1998 with the film The Mystery of P. Tinto, by Javier Fresser, and the following year he was part of the cast of Muertos de laughter by Álex de la Iglesia and “La lengua de las mariposas” , directed by José Luis Cuerda.

Since 2000, the actor has worked with some of the most important directors in our country, such as, again, Álex de la Iglesia in La Comunidad, “800 balas” and Crimen ferpecto, or with José Luis Garci in Tiovivo c. 1950 and Ninette.

Other titles in the actor’s filmography are “El oro de Moscow”, The great adventure of Mortadelo and Filemón, “Torrente 3” or Spanish Movie, among others.

As for television, the actor has participated in numerous series of the most famous on the small screen in our country, many of them in single episodes. Thus, we can highlight as examples, “Los Serrano”, “Journalists”, “Pharmacy on call”, “Family doctor”, “The house of trouble”, “Hands on work” or “Open 24 hours”.

It was thanks to television, in 2003, when Eduardo became very popular when he became part of the cast of the series “Here there is no one who lives”, giving life to Mariano Delgado, a nice and lively guy, father of Emilio , the goalkeeper.

In 2007 he joined what we could call a sequel to the previous series, “La que se avecina”. In it, he plays a character with a very similar character, Máximo Angulo, who at first is the building’s doorman, later becoming the bartender at the Max & Henry bar.

As for theater, we have been able to see him on stage representing the play “Maravilla, ten y pico”.

In 2002 he was nominated for the Union of Actors Award for best supporting actor in a film for his role in the film 800 bullets, and in 2004 he managed to win the Award, also from the Union of Actors, this time for best Supporting television actor for his work in the series “Here there is no one who lives.” In 2010 he was awarded the Alicante City Prize.
