Eddie Marsan – Biography of Eddie Marsan

Edward Maurice Charles “Eddie” Marsan He was born on June 23, 1968 in the town of Stepney in East London, England, into a working-class family. His father was a truck driver while his mother worked in a school kitchen.

Eddie He grew up in the London suburb of Bethnal Green and worked as an apprentice in a print shop, before beginning his acting career at age 20. His acting training was carried out at the Mountview Academy of Theater Arts and at the Academy of the Science of Acting & Directing.

Since its inception in the early ’90s, Marsan He has developed an intense career in film and television, working with such directors as Martin Scorsese, Michael Mann, Steven Spielberg, Woody Allen, Peter Berg, Guy Ritchie, JJ Abrams and Richard Linklater.
