Eddie He grew up in the London suburb of Bethnal Green and worked as an apprentice in a print shop, before beginning his acting career at age 20. His acting training was carried out at the Mountview Academy of Theater Arts and at the Academy of the Science of Acting & Directing.
Since its inception in the early ’90s, Marsan He has developed an intense career in film and television, working with such directors as Martin Scorsese, Michael Mann, Steven Spielberg, Woody Allen, Peter Berg, Guy Ritchie, JJ Abrams and Richard Linklater.
He has also worked under Mike Leigh twice; the first one was in “Vera drake“(2004), winning for his role the British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Actor; in 2008 he worked on”Happy, a story about happiness“, again winning the British Independent Film Award in addition to the London Film Critics Circle Award and an award from the National Society Of Film Critics.
Marsan began his career in different episodes of famous British series such as “Casualty“,”Game On“,”The Bill“,”Kavanagh QC“, and with a regular role in comedy”Get well soon“. In the 90s he began to work on different TV movies such as”Crime and Punishment“from Fyodor Dostoyevsky,”You are here” Y “Plastic Man“He was also a guest artist on the British series.”Friends and crocodiles“,”Coming Up“,”Silent Witness“,”Grass” Y “Judge John Deed“.
More recently Eddie worked in the miniseries “Little Dorrit” Y “Criminal justice” Y “Moby dick“.

In his personal life, Marsan He is married to makeup artist Janine Schneider; they both have four children.
