Every daily Belcher family viewer struggles with money. The Belcher’s burger restaurant is not really popular and is mostly scraped by the family to reach ends. Because of this Bob never purchased Linda’s engagement ring when he suggested it to her. He gave her a high-five instead. Bob buys an engagement ring in “The Ring (But Not Scary)” to send to Linda for their wedding anniversary. The diamond is small but Bob invested more than $300 on it. He plans to pay off the ring in installments of $15 over a two-year period.
The Tina Gene and Louise story loses the ring of engagement. The children first discover the ring while looking for swimming goggles in their parents ‘ house. We understand that Bob wants to propose but they don’t know he’s planning to propose the next day. Hang in with Tinasays. Are they married already? Genesays I guess so. They’re not looking for brother and sister? The children are taking turns trying on the pit. The ring gets stuck on Gene’s finger when it is time to leave for the water park and he removes the hat. Children run into Nat while they’re at the water park. Since Nat has ties with everybody Louise calls her when they know that the ring is missing. Unfortunately for Tina Gene and Louise Bob the ring is missing too. He permanently grounds them and accompanies them with Nat to the water park to search for the triangle. After hours they search through the water park with the aid of Nat and her friends Bob and the kids. When Bob and the children are looking for the ring Linda spends the night trying to put eye drops in the eyes of her sister Gayle. Gayle has a pink eye, so can’t put her eye drops inside her. Voiced by Megan Mullally Gayle, every episode she appears also offers endless humor. Sadly Bob never finds the ring. Though that doesn’t matter at the end of the day. Upon reading Tina’s extensive diary, Linda shows up to the water park with Gayle. She tells Bob she need no ring and reassures him she loves him. The Belcher family truly loves spending time together. The union between Bob and Linda is secure and the Belcher children are legally friends. Perhaps this love is better seen half way through the season. Tina is feeling worried about losing the ring and Louise is inventing the idea that Tina needs diarrhea help. To decide how to get the ring back, Louise and Gene escort Tina to the bathroom for an official sibling meeting. Bob and Linda never question that Tina is being helped by Gene and Louise, and the parents both support Tina without making her feel humiliated unconscious that it is all a ruse.
