Dita Von Teese – Biography of Dita Von Teese

Biography:

Heather Sweet, better known as Dita Von Teese, was born in Rochester, Michigan, United States on September 28, 1972. Since she was little, Dita has maintained her fascination with the stars of the Golden Age and that is how she spent her time dreaming with becoming like Betty Grable and Hedí Lamarr.
At the age of 12, she moved with her family to California, where she studied, adding ballet classes to basic studies, she used to collect clothes from the 20s, what she loved madly was lingerie.
In 1991, with the example of Bettie Page, the American model and pin-up of the fifties, and several similarities, she got her appearance in a large number of magazines, such as “Maxim”, “GQ”, “The Arena” , “Esquire”, “Elle”, among several that has taken over its cover. Heather showed herself as she was, wrapped in her mother-of-pearl skin, showing her fiery lips and characterized by her jet-black hair, she was baptized with the name of Dita in honor of the silent film actress Dita Parlo. Then he added Von, which suited him as a last name and added Tease, which means sexually provocative in English, and since Playboy magazine has misspelled it the first time, that’s how it remains.
Her fascinating career really started two years later, in 1993, when, as a good collector, she decided to pay tributes to models from those times, such as the 30’s and 40’s and thus became a fetish actress.
Without scale but with a lot of natural talent, Dita arrives in Hollywood pouring out beauty and personality, until Hugh Helfner has suggested that she dare to star on the cover of “Playboy”, where she has left viewers breathless in quantity.
It has always been characterized by its old eroticism, due to its collections, and by the aesthetics of another time, which is not only that, its image recreates photos of the past. In 1993, she complemented her now characterized beauty with her years of ballet study and performed for the first time in a burlesque, comic, musical and erotic genre show, which has been successfully accepted. Here I played Sally Rand, a star of the 30s, full of feathers.
In 2005, the brand new wife of the musician Marilyn Manson, with whom they form an incredible couple, has participated in a photo session for the magazine “Vanity Fair”, where they define her as a burlesque superhero.
The model has participated in parties of successful firms such as Louis Vuitton, or appearances in media as global as the MTV chain.
With regard to his partner, Marilyn Manson and Dita met at a vintage clothing fair in Santa Monica in 1999, he invited her to his concert on her birthday and she very courteously gave him a bottle of absinthe, and five days later I was still with him on the tour bus.
Dita von Teese considers herself extremely free, she does not want to be taken as an example of anything, she lives according to her convictions and, above all, according to her fantasies.
