ActionDash Introduces digital wellness to all Android users ByBill Toulas-January 19, 2019.792 Android users can now get a taste of Digital Wellness from Google through ActionDash. Currently only Pixel and Android One owners have access to this latest set of tools that will help you make better use of your app. ActionDash focuses more on the delivery and insight of the data used by the app rather than offering a gallery of device behavior tweaks. Google’s Pixel phone owners as well as Android One system users are familiar with an app called “Virtual Wellbeing,” which is actually a set of Screen Time resources that iO’s users have at their fingertips, and it has really impressed those few who have to play with it. The sad thing with it is that Google decided to keep it restricted to the Pixel and Android One portion of its large user base so the majority of the Android users had to rely on a third party developer who could theoretically do something about this deficiency.

ByBill Toulas-December 8, 2018.794 Figure 1 Picture Courtesy of Kkomando Netflix continues its revenue growth throughout the global market November 2018 was a record month for the mobile app with estimates hitting $86.6 million Netflix set a new record this November with its mobile app on the App Store and Google Play delivering $86.6 million in gross revenue. This figure was reported by data from the Sensor Tower Store Intelligence and is 77 per cent higher than the corresponding 2017 period. It was a record-breaking month for the California-based media streaming colossus compared to the next most successful month for Netflix which was July 2018 this November was 2.3 per cent higher. In total, and since Netflix developed the monetization model for their streaming media services network, from 137 million subscribers worldwide it has grossed around $1.58 billion. Us-based subscribers accounted for 57 per cent of last month’s revenue that effectively exceeded Netflix’s November 2017 global sales figure. Such figures are representative of Netflix’s steady growth over the past two years, sustaining a year-over-year increase in revenue of about 75%. In addition to the Us, other countries that played a key role in this development include Germany Brazil South Korea and Japan, both contributing more than $1 million in gross revenue. .795 Netflix does not intend to generate revenue and focus on expanding its net profits, just as the strategic plan for the company is to increase its production and distribution of films and series content. The streaming company is still in a budget with long-term commitments which is constantly charged to fund the creation of more “Netflix Original” material. That strategy seems to work perfectly so far with Netflix using that content to expand its diversity and thereby helping to gain a growing acceptance in the 190 countries in which it is now available.
