Rigels Rajku grew up on 27 September 1986 in the village of Sukth, between the cities of Durrës and Tirana in central Albania, to a Muslim father from Dibër and a Catholic mother from Krujë. At the age of 11, he and his family left Albania and settled in the United Kingdom due to the Albanian Civil War in 1997. He grew up in the Woolwich neighbourhood of southeastern London and developed there a passion for boxing and street fighting.
