Craig Robinson – Biography of Craig Robinson

Craig Phillip Robinson was born in October 1971 in the United States.

Originally from Chicago, before dedicating himself to acting he was a teacher in a public school in that city. I study in the University of Illinois, and obtained a master’s degree in Education from St. Xavier University.

He began acting in comedy solo shows and took improv and acting classes at Second city, a troupe of comedy actors from Chicago.

It became known in 1998 in the Just For Laughs Festival from Montreal, after which he was hired by the FOX.

He has also developed a career in film and television. He was a guest actor in numerous series, such as “Lucky“,”Friends“,”The Bernie Mac Show” Y “Curb Your Enthusiasm“.
He currently plays Darryl philbin in the hit series “The office“, of the NBC.
He has also participated with his comical monologues in late-night television programs such as “Jimmy Kimmel Live!“,”Sketch Pad“, from HBO, Y “Real Time with Bill Maher“.

On the big screen Robinson has appeared for the past two years in a triad of lurid comedies: the popular hits of Judd ApatowAn embarrassing mess“(2007) and”Super smoked“(2008); and in”Shall we make a porno?“(2008) by Kevin smith; all co-starring Seth rogen.

Other film credits include the feature films “Daddy’s little girls“(2007);”Miss march“(2009);”Night at the Museum 2“(2009); and the upcoming comedies”The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard“(2009) and”Post Grad“(2009).

His work as a comedian was awarded in 1996 at the Miller Genuine Draft Comedy Search and in 1998 in the Oakland Comedy Festival.
