Actress Clara Lago was born on March 6, 1990 in Madrid.

His debut in the professional world took place in 2000, when he was offered a role in the feature film “Terca vida”, at the same time that he participated in the series “Manos a la obra”, also joining the successful film this year. production “Companions”, where she played Desirée, Lolo’s girlfriend, for a couple of years.

In 2001 she participated in a small role in the series “Raquel seeks her site”, and in 2002 the prestigious director Imanol Uribe offered her the main role in the film “Carol’s trip”. From her performance in this film, Clara is considered one of the strongest promises of Spanish cinema.

In 2004 he worked under another brilliant director, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, in the film “The life that awaits you”, in which he plays Genia, a girl who grew up in the valleys of Cantabria.

In this same 2004 he also acted in some chapters of the series “Hospital Central, playing the role of Candela Rodríguez Gándara, Cruz’s daughter, and who would repeat after a couple of years.

In 2006 he worked with the director César Martínez Herrada in the film “Arena en los bolsillos”, along with Daniel Guzmán and Yohana Cobo, and in 2007 he acted in the feature film “El club de los suicidas”, directed by Roberto Santiago.

At the same time, also in 2007, she joined the series “Los Hombres de Paco”, giving life to the character of Carlota Fernández, Lucas’s secret sister.

In 2008 he starred in the series “LEX”, playing one of the main roles, that of Eli Estrada, at the same time that he starred in another feature film for the cinema, “The Hangman Game”, directed by Manuel Gómez Pereira.

In 2009 he worked on a production by Alejandro Amenábar, “El mal ajeno”, in which he shared the poster with actors of the stature of Belén Rueda and Eduardo Noriega.

In 2011 he participated in two feature films, both with Quim Gutiérrez, “Cousins” and “La cara Oculta”. Subsequently, he has also worked on “I have desire for you” and Fin, the latter with the actress Maribel Verdú.

On television he has also participated in series such as “The Golden Girls”, as well as in the miniseries “The heart of the ocean.”

It is also worth mentioning his participation in the video clip “I don’t know where I’m going” by the group El Sueño de Morfeo.

Despite her still short career, the actress has already achieved very important awards and nominations, such as the Best New Actress Award at the Toulouse Spanish Film Festival for her work in the film “La vida que te awaits”, or the Award for Young Actors of Spanish Cinema at the Solidarity Festival of Spanish Cinema for his performance in the feature film “The Hangman Game.”

In addition, in 2003 she was nominated for the Goya Award for Best New Actress for her role in “Carol’s Journey.”
