Use clippers and shears, this look is an edgy new bob style. Make the blunt cuts with a clipper section by section starting from the bottom of the same length all around with the client’s head tilted forward. This will build the quest for the hard edge. Do the same at the desired length with the bangs. Make sure to tilt your head in the opposite direction to test your job for zero marks. First, the blunt edge softens slightly by raising the hair 90 ° from the head with a brush and deep edge notching. Repeat until you achieve the desired effect. Do not take this step with the bangs. It is a cut which can be worn straight or waved. My client has very straight hair, of course, so this is a look that she can wash dry and go, but still looking put together. Holding the distance across her collarbones stops her head from becoming too elongated for long straight hair to happen. The length helps to cut time for styling that’s perfect for a busy student like herself.
