Good Appetite! 5 Sweet and Savory Crepe Recipes Straight from France Emily Coyle More Articles June 22 2014 Crepes are the perfect after-dinner Saturday morning delight and midday meal. How could it be? Because it is best to describe the crepes in one word: flexible. Crepes don’t have to be clothingly sweet-they can also be savory and eaten for lunch or dinner breakfast. Instead of just reserving your crepe adventures for nutella-filled pancakes and bananas in Paris, make your own kitchen a crepery and whip up one of those five recipes that range from sinfully sweet to savory. To churn out your own crepes, you don’t need any sophisticated gadgets — just a basic skillet. Ingredients: 1 cup of all-purpose spooned and leveled flour 1 tablespoon of sugar 1/4 teaspoon of coarse salt 1 1/2 cups of whole milk 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter melted Directions: Mix flour sugar salt eggs and butter in a blender. Puree for about 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth and bubbles appear on top. Let the batter sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes (or cool down in an airtight container for up to one day; whisk before use). Size a medium-heat, 12-inch nonstick skillet. Coat generously with butter. Add 1/3 cup batter and swirl to fully cover skillet bottom. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the underside of the crepe is golden brown. Loosen crepe edge with a rubber spatula then easily turn with your fingertips. Cook over for 1 minute. Slide the crepe out of the skillet and repeat with batter left over. 8/8.1000 8/8.1000-Source: https:/www.flickr.com/photos/stuart spivack/ 2. Nutella crepes

From The Yellow Table comes this next recipe. Nutella crepes at home are extremely easy and cheap to make, and once you know how easily you and your waistline might be in trouble. Ingredients: 2 eggs 1/4 cup water 2 teaspoons of vanilla 1 cup of all-purpose flour 2 table spoons of sugar 2 table spoons of melted butter plus pan Heat a small crepe pan over medium – high heat (or nonstick skillet). Swirl 1 tablespoon of butter in the saucepan and add a small amount of flour to the saucepan-swirl the saucepan so that the batter covers the bottom evenly. Cook and turn over for about 30 seconds (until light browning). Cook and return to a plate for another 10-15 seconds. Continue to cook the remaining batter, adding extra butter per third crepe or so. Place the crepes on a sheet tray cover with aluminum foil and keep warm up until ready to serve in a 225 degree Fahrenheit oven. To serve spread each crepe with your preferred topping: jam butter nutella warm chocolate syrup and sugar lemon etc. and then fold in half like a napkin into fourths. Mix with powdered sugar and steam to eat. 8/8.1001 8/8.1001 Source: https:/www.flickr.com/adactio/photosNathanael ArnoldGoogle+Twitter More Posts 4/4.282 4/4.282 Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace Lucasfilm Liam Neeson has played many tough guy characters in various action films (The A-Team Non-Stop and A Walk Among the Tombstones) ever since the unexpected success of The multi-talented actor, however, is far from being a one-trick pony.
