Brendon Urie was born on 12 April 1987 in St George Utah to father Boyd Urie and mother Grace Urie as Brendon Boyd Urie. When he was only two years old his parents moved to Las Vegas. Urie was raised in a Lds family but left the faith at 17 because of his ideological displeasure. As for his education, he attended Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas where he met with Brent Wilson, a member of his band. During his school days Urie was being bullied. He also worked at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe to pay for his rent, and people would also ask him to sing for a tip and he enjoyed it.
