Antonio Pagudo – Biography of Antonio Pagudo

The actor Antonio Pagudo was born on August 23, 1976 in the town of Baza, in the province of Granada.

Despite having become popular as a result of his performance in the successful series “La que se avecina”, the actor already had a professional career behind him, especially in the theater, having been part of the Yllana company for more than ten years. with which he has represented a large number of plays, such as “Brockers”, one of the last in which we have been able to see him. Likewise, the “Comedy Club” has also performed.

Antonio has also participated in several short films, among which we can mention “My uncle Paco” and “Who is Florinda Bolkan?”.

He has also made some feature films on the big screen. In this field he made his debut in 2006 with the film “Svenson’s syndrome”. In that same year he also took part in the film “GAL”, directed by Miguel Courtois, a film about the dirty war against ETA in which the actor represents the Secretary of State.

In 2007 he was part of the filming of Salir pitaro, a film by Álvaro Fernández Armero in the key of comedy.

In 2010 he participated in the feature film directed by David Marqués, “Desechos”, another comedy in which he plays the role of Talín, working with Fernando Tejero.

Regarding television, he has participated in productions such as the Canal Sur telenovela “Arrayán”, in the documentary series “Miradas 2” or in “Cuéntame como pasa”, among others.

However, popularity, as we have mentioned above, came to him in 2007, when he was offered to be part of the cast of the series “La que se avecina”, giving life to the character of Javier Maroto, a computer scientist son of Vicente and of Goya, who is married to the chaotic Lola and who has to put up with his crazy mother-in-law Estela Reynolds, muse of uncovering as she describes herself.
