Seacrest was first introduced to the public when American Idol began in 2002. He took the job alongside co-host Brian Dunkleman at the time. Dunkleman was on the show for just one season; for the remaining years, Seacrest was able to host on his own. American Idol was one of the decade’s most popular shows and Seacrest became the show’s face as the sole host that put him on the worldwide map. In the years leading up to idol he’d done some odd-job hosting but the show acted as his big break.
Seacrest made $15 million a year to host Idol on Fox With a profit of $15 million a year to host the show that its weekly ratings had started to slip by this time. Between Idol and his other corporate projects Seacrest made around $55 million in 2011 for the year.
When ABC picked up the series Seacrest took a pay cut of almost $5 million
While Fox was no longer going to host the show it was t the official end of about $10 million somewhere (the exact amount is unknown). Seacrest agreed and he’d be the show’s star once again. His pay was relatively low compared to judge Katy Perry who was paid for her first season with a record $25 million.

They started seeing each other and when they moved in together things got serious in 2009. Jordan suggested two years later. Their wedding was a star-studded affair which cost more than $10 million. The pair said “I do” at Bethesda-by – the-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida. The bride wore a custom-made gown crafted by J Aton Couture designed from French silk and lace embellished with Swarovski crystals. The dress also included a ride to the cathedral. The lavish function included “amazing floral arrangements of tulips roses peonies crystal candelabras [and] private cigar rooms,” according to JeffRealty.com. The couple preferred a seven-layer white rum cake adorned with crystal broaches and the guest list included a variety of prominent athletes and celebrities including Tiger Woods Spike Lee and former Chicago Bulls teammate Scotty Pippen. At the party, artists Usher and Robin Thicke both chanted. This was Prieto’s first marriage, and the Jordan’s second. From 1989 to 2006 the NBA Hall of Famer had previously married Juanita Vanoy.
