Álex García – Biography of Álex García

The actor Álex García was born on November 14, 1981 in San Cristóbal de la Laguna, in Tenerife, Canary Islands.

He entered the world of acting at a very young age, since when he was little he presented a program on a local television in Tenerife.

In 2001 he participated in the series “Compañeros”, in the role of Serpa, becoming a well-known face on the small screen. After this series he participated in an episode of the series “Genesis, in the mind of the murderer”, “Central Hospital” and “Quart”.

In 2008 he was hired to be part of the team of actors in the telenovela “Amar en tiempo revolstos”, in which he plays the character of Alfonso García.

In this same year he also participated in the series “Without tits there is no paradise” playing José Moreno, a role that also gave him a lot of popularity. Later he has also appeared in “Tierra de lobos”, a Tele5 production in which he has starred as César Bravo.

On television, Álex has also worked on programs such as “La mandrágora”, “Generación.com” or “El leader de la herda”.

The actor has also made his foray into the world of cinema, playing Germán in the film “Six points on Emma”, by director Roberto Pérez Toledo, in 2011. He has also participated in different short films, such as “913”, “Private classes”, “An ordinary day”, “Encounter” or “Before your eyes”.

Despite his short career, the actor already has some recognitions to his credit, such as the Radio and Television Award at the 1st Kingdom of León International Historical Film and TV Festival for his work in the telenovela “Amar en tiempo revolver”.
