Perhaps one of the most feared and sought-after female assassins in history has been Aileen Wuornos, a lesbian woman who murdered more than six men and committed a series of crimes from threats to armed robbery and whose case has been dealt with in a film titled Monster.
Aileen Wuornos whose real name is Aileen pittman was born February 29, 1956 in Michigan United StatesShe had a rather sad childhood and it could even be said that macabre, her parents left her in the care of her grandparents, her and her brother Keith. Her real father died in prison being accused of pedophilia, it is believed that she had inherited certain aspects of insanity from her father. Added to this is the bad treatment he received from his grandparents.
Aileen Wuornos was a very strange, lonely girl, with whom no one wanted to hang out. She and her brother spent long hours playing games and apparently it was with him that she maintained a close relationship. They both had to endure the terrible beatings of their grandfather, a cruel old man who is said to have been the first man to abuse Aileen.
Another fact that would mark her life would be to get pregnant with her brother when she was just 14 years old, after being in a center for teenage mothers, she must give the child up for adoption. As a teenager he also began to engage in the prostitution business in exchange for coins or cigarettes.
Once he was 17 years old, he ran away from his grandparents’ house and began to live on the streets committing small crimes in order to survive. Her brother died quite young of throat cancer and she had to collect the ten thousand dollars for the insurance, but she quickly spent the sum on a car and jewelry.
Aileen Wuornos married a rather old man named Llewis Fell, but the marriage lasts very little since Aileen did not leave that messy life of drugs and alcohol. The arrests for robbery, riots, misconduct and even armed robbery continued, for which he went to prison for a few months.
His extreme violence would be unleashed to meet Tyria moore, a lesbian waitress with whom she establishes a loving relationship and whom she convinces that the only way to earn money was by taking her away from those men who had done her so much harm. Thus begins his murders, attributing that they were all in self-defense.
Her crimes were six murders and as many vandalism attacks, thanks to some witnesses she was arrested along with her partner and after an extensive trial she was sentenced to death by lethal injection. Aileen Wuornos died on October 9, 2002.
