Originally the videos were intended for her friends she leaves behind only. But eventually she began to build a following. She posted everything from makeup tutorials to dance and song covers. Back in the music scene, Donnalyn released her 3rd album “Surprise” with Di Lahat as the album’s lead single. In 2019 she released a self directed music video of Di Lahat featuring the most famous personalities in the industry. It was followed up by another successful self-directed music video titled HBD from the same album. This made her the most subscribed singer-songwriter on YouTube in the Philippines with 3.3 Million subscribers as of April 2021.
