Boudewijn Zenden was born on August 15, 1976 in Maastricht, Holland.
He is a striker gifted with great quality when it comes to scoring goals, making him quite a dangerous player.
His professional career began at the powerful club PSV Eindhoven, where he won a Dutch Cup, in 1996, and later the following year, the Holland League.
From the Dutch team, he was transferred to Barcelona in 1998, becoming a key player in the 1998-1999 season to obtain the League title.
He remained with the Barça team until the 2001 season, in which he was bought by the Chelsea fc from England.
With the English team he had no joy, and became a disappointment for most of the team’s fans.
Then he was loaned to the club of the same country, the Middlesbrough FC, where he won the English League Cup.
In 2005, the Liverpool FC seized his services, and there, he managed to win the European Super Cup, the England Cup and the Community Shield.
With the Holland National Soccer Team debuted in 1997, in the match that the Dutch team defeated 6-0 at San Marino.
He was present at the 1998 and 2002 World Cups, and at the 2000 and 2004 Euro Cups.
