David lyons was born in April 1976 in the city of Melbourne, Australia. He studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), from Australia, graduating in 2004.
He started his career when he played Jason tyler in the Australian series “Blue heelers“, in 2005.
He then filmed several shorts and feature films in his home country until, in 2008, he got the role of the Dr. Simon Brenner in Season 14 of the hit American series “Emergencies (ER)“, a role he played until the last season in 2009.
His next job was a leading role in the Australian series “Sea Patrol“, where he played Leading Seaman Josh ‘ET’ Holiday, and was a member of the cast of the romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts Y Javier Bardem, “Eat Pray Love“(2010).
At the moment Lyons stars in the new series of NBC, “The Cape“, in the role of Vince faraday.
