Unfortunately it’s here to live once you have the illness. Alzheimer’s kills more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined, according to the Alzheimer s Association. After age 65 most people are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and women are diagnosed in two out of three cases. Alzheimer’s is a form of dementia but Alzheimer’s isn’t all dementia. One may be suffering from dementia because it just means that their cognitive ability is not as good as it once was and they may forget things they never used to forget or are easily confused. Yet Alzheimer’s is a chronic condition that gets worse over time, and affects the brain irreparably. Over the years, Alzheimer’s rates have risen dramatically and will continue to rise
Between 1999 and 2014, according to The Washington Post, Alzheimer’s prevalence has climbed a whopping 55 percent. Between that time of 15 years, the data were gathered from death certificates across the world. Researchers noticed that many more people are dying now than years ago from Alzheimer’s. And the worst thing is that those levels keep on rising. The Alzheimer’s Association expects 14 million cases of the disease will occur in the U.S. by 2050, more than double today’s s levels.

The film will feature original songs from the 1989 animated film, as well as new songs from Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The casting option was not finalized according to Variety so Lizzo still has a chance to snatch the role.
