Disney makes a live-action version of ‘Bambi’ With the success of Disney’s photo-real adaptation of TThe Hollywood Reporters Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel Tomb Raider) and Lindsey Beer (Sierra Burgess Is a Loser Chaos Walking) can infiltrate the script to recreate their photographs. Disney isn’t afraid to alter the narrative of her live-action movies, depending on the story. For the Disney+ release Refinery 29 calls “a more animal rights-friendly ending.” Simultaneously, in the remake version of The Lion King, the studio made Mufasa suffered the same fate as in the animated classic. Bambi’s live-action story is supposed to follow the same young fawn as Bambi’s forest exploration with his new friends. Some Disney fans, however, are already wondering about the fate of one particular character, “Mom of Bambi.” Bambi’s mother is shot by hunters in the animated film and Bambi is left with his parents. Will the deer suffer the same fate in this real photo remake? Disney has unfortunately not disclosed anything concerning this case.
