Bong Joon Ho, however, claims that there are more stories to tell about Parasite. As Deadline Bong mentioned describing With Parasite while I was writing the script, I had so many more ideas that I couldn’t translate into the film’s two-hour runtime. I figured I’d be able to tell these stories if I had a longer running time and that’s what I’m hoping to talk to Adam [ McKay ] pretty soon. The acclaimed director went on to add that Fanny and Alexander were evidence that a TV series could keep telling a story about a film. He said that although I’m not really familiar with the television industry, I really see this limited series as an extended film that can delve deeper into the stories that didn’t make Parasite. While this is exciting news for director’s work fans, there’s been some worry about whether or not the story’s tone would change under different leadership and whether or not it’s going to be white actors in English.

And he has already seen some historic Oscar nominations. The first Korean film ever to win the award, Parasite has been nominated for Best Picture. Also nominated for Best Director International Film and Original Screenplay were Parasite and Bong Joon Ho, as well as a nomination for Editing and Production Design Bong Joon Ho clarified that international films are becoming more available to watchers around the world who are becoming more willing to read subtitles too. He said I thought this was the case not only for the US but for most countries, including Korea, where viewers are mostly watching domestic movies or blockbusters from Hollywood. Crossing continents and reaching different audiences was not very popular for various films. Yet I think the audience is opening up to these films, and the fact that this Korean-language film has been nominated for Oscars and was really accepted by US viewers shows the change of attitude. The reality about avocados is that the multi-year drought in California has caused significant climbing of their prices. Such cost of production actually increased 36 times from $72 per acre-foot to $2600 per acre-foot. In your local grocery store that translates into very expensive avocados.The world loves sushi and that’s wonderful, for good reason. But an extreme overfishing of bluefin tuna has come about with that ravenous love of Japanese delicacy. The World Wildlife Fund bluefin tuna is the sixth most endangered species on earth, with the fish actually swimming.
