Endeavor Buys NeuLion A Subscription Service Acquires a media streaming company called NeuLion for $250 millionByNitish Singh-March 27, 2018.379 Endeavor. Endeavour aims to diversify its assets through the acquisition. The holding company Enterprise, which formerly went by the name Wme-Img, recently acquired NeuLion in a $250 million deal as a streaming technology company. NeuLion is known for providing video delivery services to a wide array of content owners, particularly major sporting leagues. Even some of those leagues were previously owned by Endeavor, including Ufc and Professional Bull Riders. In relation to this it should be remembered that NeuLion had previously worked with Endeavor. One of the latest of such partnerships would be the broadcasting of last year’s adrenaline-filled battle between boxer Floyd Mayweather and Ufc champion Conor McGregor. .380 Figure 1 Picture Courtesy of News Patrolling After the acquisition of NeuLion Venture Ceo Ariel Emanuel made a statement “Through our content portfolio customer base and broader network of rights holders we have experienced several different platforms for distributing and monetizing content [ … ] NeuLion offers an ideal combination of technology and customer service and we are delighted to see that content is being delivered. “We are excited about the value provided to our stockholders through this deal and we look forward to the exciting opportunities offered to both our current and new customers by being part of the Endeavor family.” “As part of the deal, Endeavor would buy all of NeuLion’s outstanding Common Shares to be held as a private company for $0.84 each. This deal is due to be signed by the end of the first quarter of 2018.
