I describe this as a balayage / shady beach! In only 10-12 weeks she needs to come. By making it fun, the lob haircut completes the look! We’re finishing her off with Matrix’s Rock it Texture salt spray after I curl it slightly with a 1 1/4? Babyliss Nano Curling iron titanium. The suggestions that someone feels about it? The current state of your hair is extremely important, so patience is key to achieving lightness over sessions. Working with your natural color will always go with your skin type unless you’re willing to change everything around it like makeup eyebrows and all the products you’re using then I usually don’t recommend going over 2 shades lighter or darker on the roots than your natural one! I still recommend that my clients take home deep care when they light up their hair (yes, even oily hair needs moisture at the ends).
Dark to Auburn Copper

QA with Jason Dahlstrom style founder Hairstylist / Colorist @ Jeffrey Lamorte Salon in Frankfurt Il How would you describe this look? This color is an auburn chocolate color that melts with Wella into a rich copper shadow. The suggestions that someone feels about it? For most skin tones, I feel like copper plays for race and face shapes. Right now, there’s a massive copper craze going on and I have a lot of fun with it!

QA with designer Caroline Guinea Color Specialist / Blonde Specialist @ Butterfly Loft Salon Spa in Encino Ca Can you tell us about this look? When I first saw my friend Nicole, her hair target was always to have an Emerald green color-melt. Because of a previous fire engine red hue, we had quite a road to get her to this target color. My favorite part about this was the company and the processes that achieved the target color. I was so happy to see the joy in her face when we finally achieved it. It is a beautiful hue that is not often requested, so it was definitely a fun challenge to take on. Are there any advice? The most longevity out of all the fashion colors for any customer considering it brown. If you want to keep your hair vibrant, cold water low heat dry shampoo and sulfate free shampoos are your best friend. Most importantly, look for a professional who knows these colors very well to avoid unwanted results.
Red to Red Wine BurgundyI am also proud to use organic vegan products such as All-Nutrient and Colorphlex to ensure that the fruit reference goes hand in hand. Are there any advice? Of course, any customer who is considering a color scheme that does not fall into the category of natural hair should be educated on the maintenance such as how often they need their roots done or a gloss of color to freshen the overall look. I use the color-glosses of all-nutrient keratint. They are organic demi-glosses that never seem to lose their vitality! I like Colorphlex home care products for my clients because they not only protect the color but also reinforce and add bonds to the hair whenever they are shampooed. They receive a dose of protein derived from vegetables in the Colorphlex ColorStrong Complex, which improves the texture and shine of the condition. Let your customers know that using cheap home care products will make your beauty dull or strip your hair of all the hard work you put into it. Nobody wants their sparkle to dull! In addition, the use of qualified home care items can discourage them from requiring additional services such as clarifying protein treatments and can even minimize how often they need a toner / gloss to refresh their ends.
QA with Yvette Contreras Hair Artist @ The San Jacinto Ca Hair Studio Can you tell us about this look? This is one of the looks of my ice-blonde. It’s a blonde that’s cooler and very ashy! I love the look’s dimension. The shadowed roots and contrast raise the complexity of those ashy / gray tones and make the highlights more pronounced. Are there any advice? The care comes along with this look’s elegance to maintain it. In fact, it took three sessions for my client to achieve this look. This is a good result for a third session. It’s a must for Olaplex. We want to protect the hair’s dignity at all times! You are looking for a standing appointment to touch the roots and trim every 6-8 weeks. Also, you should invest in some decent athome hair care products. There’s a lot of lightening involved and it will break and become dry and porous without proper hair care. Joico color is my normal guide for shampoo and conditioner. It’s much softer on the hair as it’s free of sulphates. Personally, I think it’s a look that anyone can look at. But I’d say a big factor is placing contrast and highlighting around the face.

Can you tell us that look? This is an ombrated black cherry. I love the melting of the rich black in vibrant red tones. Which products are you going to recommend for this look? To achieve this look, I used Redken. I love using two different tones when doing reds to show the dimension of cool and warm reds. Are there any advice? Any advice? Ombrà © s is a great option for low maintenance. In particular, this customer has lighter hair than the brown chocolate on top, so if desired, maintenance would be a routine root touch-up of eight to six weeks along with a red refresh. I love the product line of Pureology called Reviving Red to hold red hair. It is going to keep the reds warm!
QA with creator Francesca Kane Master Hair Stylist @ The Color Parlor in Wildomar Ca Can you tell us about this look? This is a soft brown ombrated multi-dimensional hair. The gentle incremental lightening of the overall look is my favorite thing about it. For this look, what products would you recommend? Are there any advice? I’d say anyone can achieve this look with the right styling products in the olive and tan skin tones and any form of hair. Some advice? Stay within the base color shades of three grades. To order to maintain, I would say to use a color safe / treated shampoo and conditioner and come in for a refreshing toner for shine and fading every so often.
QA with designer Kristina Dunn Hairstylist @ San Diego Ca Raven Sage Collective Can you tell us about this look? It’s a gray color. My favorite thing about this look is that at the roots you still get the depth of natural coloring, but at the ends it’s really fun pop.
Dark to Light Brunette Chocolate
Danielle Badger QA with creatorDanielle Badger Hair Designer @ This or Die Salon in Los Angeles Ca This is a natural, carefree brunette ombré. I love the look because it’s so easy to do. It’s sassy and sophisticated when you wear it sleek and straight. If you curl it, with more of a seductive look, it becomes like a beach. For this look, what items do you recommend? I’m only using the Surface product line. It is a salon-exclusive, high performance hair care and skin care line that values personal health and the environment. I rounded my hair for this look and used the Awakening Thickening Cream. Then I curled and sprayed the hair with a 1-inch curling iron. Surface is all about quality and performance that is normal. It actually achieves its goals, which is why I continue to use it! It’s easy and enhances the hair. Are there any advice? The big part about the presentation of a balayage / ombré is that it’s a natural look. It’s all about a sun-kissed style that gives the natural look of the beach. It’s about tailoring it to the consumer. From a natural look to a more innovative and edgy style, several different tones will work with this technique. Please learn from other stylists because it is an art that is changing all the time. Balayage is precious because it will last a long time if it’s something that’s done right and the look will eventually fade away.
Yvette Contreras Could you tell us about this look
It’s an extreme shade. I needed a design that made my client’s hair more full. The contrast between her natural base and the pink is my favorite part of the look. For this look, what items do you recommend? Using Blondor’s powdered lightener I lightened her hair using 30 vol. My Awesome Repair And Shine creator and added falls. With Demi creator, I used Rusk Pink for the pink and added My Amazing Repair and Shine falls again. Some advice? Some advice? Using cooler water for washing and professional hair care products to keep this look vibrant! It would be every three to five weeks for your touch-ups.
Red Fire to Orange Burnt
Luckily red is one of those colors you just need to fine the right shade with every skin and type of hair. Specifically, because of how many colors were used, it works best with medium (past the shoulders) hair or longer. Some advice? To recreate the color I started by lightening the mids to the ends and then melted three shades of red starting with a deep dark red at the root and then melting into the brightest lighter red and adding the gold to the bottom. The use of a color-safe shampoo and conditioner combo heat protecting products and lower heat settings will help to maintain bright colors. When bathing, the use of cooler water will help the colors not spill into each other. Kelly Nord Style byKelly Nord Hairstylist @ Salon Trendà © in Waconia Mn Can you tell us about this look?
Soft dark to Auburn Copper

This is a soft red / copper hue with loose curls and a cut in the middle of the shoulder. My favorite thing about this style is that it’s perfect for someone who wants things to spice up a bit but is still subtle. It’s a great way to add warm tones to their look and a fun style! – items are you going to recommend for this look? I used Evo Moroccan Oil Dry Texture Spray’s thermal protective Icon Welder for styling and finished with Lanza Keratin Healing Oil Finishing Spray. Are there any advice? Medium or darker skin tones, like this copper / gold, look best in a lighter red color. What’s your best tip to recreate / maintain this look? Do not use hot water to wash your hair! Hot water, especially with reds, can cause colors to fade much faster. Ask your stylist about which iron to use to produce different curls when talking about fashion. Ask about products to help maintain your look and protect it from regular heat styling. Using the right products to help keep and care for your beautiful hair is crucial! Red
It’s a red shadow or a red column. My favorite thing about this look is the darker red’s high contrast and brightness! For this look, what items do you recommend? I am a colorist certified by Redken so I would recommend the Color Fusion line, of course. I used 3rv and 4rr for an extra kick in the top melting in 6rv and 6rr with R hi fusion! Are there any advice? Victoria Ashton Hair Making Artist in Los Angeles Ca How would you describe this cut and color and what’s your favorite thing about it? This is a classic style. She has very long, thick hair and likes to keep her hair clean and smooth on her back. The front was cut to frame her face and enhance her favorite side part, and using an internal texturizing technique, the overall look was thinning it out a bit. The overall fluidity of the color on her hair is my favorite part of this look. ombré provides a smooth, elegant combination of color. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend? What kind of person would work well with this look? On most s, ombré looks good, but the process will be different for the foreach form. This overall haircut / design fits all shapes of the face and is suitable for women who like low maintenance color care and are often unable to make regular haircut appointments. The skin pigment of the client will decide the shade you choose to indicate hot or ash shades. What kind of tip would you give to someone who is or already has this look? Before and after lightening the hair, it is so important to keep up with daily conditioning treatments so it stays healthy. Always use some form of leave-in and heat-protective treatment before styling so as not to affect lightened hair areas and make sure that if you’re not going to keep lightening your hair at least keep up with toning appointments to maintain the color.
QA with founder Lacey Valdez Master Stylist @ Ave Salon at Ogden Ut Can you tell us about this look? This is a beautiful dark look that is basically a more subtle ombré version. I used the lightener / olaplex from Schwarzkopf. I used a method of combing the back of her head with babylights. For so many years, she has been coloring her hair dark and I felt like I needed the heat from the foils to help make her lighter. Are there any advice? It allows you to play around with the colors on your ends because you have your natural color at your root. Some advice? This is a long-lasting color and must be retained only if you want a darker source or a lighter / darker finish. Natural Dark to Light Ash Brown Waves

QA with Senior Stylist Juana Reyna @ Jay Rua Glam Hair Salon in Las Vegas Nv Can you tell us about this look? For this look, what items do you recommend? I would like to commend these following products to keep up with this fantastic transformation: * Fix Moroccan Oil Products Shampoo and Conditioner Now that her hair is lightened, it is very necessary that we fix her hair and restore the ends with moisture and reconstructive keratin to prevent breakage. * Fanola No Yellow Shampoo Used weekly, this will keep her blonde hair bright and free of brass. * Moroccan Oil This exquisite oil is an all-in – one product. I strongly recommend that you use it as a heat-protective as well as a routine departure. Which is my favorite thing about it, it won’t leave hair sticky or thick. It dries nice and soft, and after adding the oil, additional products can be used. This look can be pulled off by anyone with any hair length or texture. This blonde hue may not fit for everyone, but it certainly will be the mix. It would be medium to light for the best skin tones to pull off this exact hue. Some advice? This was an ombré color correction, so I had to cover everything with a darker 5N base to mask unwanted tones. I continued with the ombrà © technique after she was blow dried and sectioned off to re-lift her and give her a high blend. I used a level 7 beige blonde toner when it came time to tone to give her the creamy blonde look. Use the approved items to preserve the hair color and dignity and return to the salon in a month or two to re-tone.

QA with maker Mish Jolie Southington Ct Can you tell us about this look? This is the ombré caramel achampagne with lighter pieces, all painted by hand. Andrea Albanese QA creator> Andrea>Wa Can you tell us about this look? The shade is highly versatile. It will fade back to the pre-lightened blonde as long as you use a semi-permanent color on the previously lightened ends and leave you with a blank canvas. For this look, what items do you recommend? For the color, using Matrix Light Master, I lightened my client’s hair to level 9 and then toned her hair with Matrix’s Silver Mink formula (1 oz 10A 3/4 oz 10P) to cool down any moisture and give it a silver look as it fades. In top of that I used a combination of Pravana Pink and Magenta. I used a 1 1/2-inch barrel curling iron for shaping to curl it all. I’m doing the curls in different ways. Because she has long, thick hair that doesn’t always want to hold curl, I let the curls cool down and set to use a bit of styling oil to brush through them gently to soften the look. Are there any advice? Some advice? I always recommend seeing a professional if you want to do something like this to your hair. Find pictures of styles you like and some of them you don’t like. The more examples of images you have, the better your stylist’s impression of what you want. This method is low maintenance, but the awareness that bright colors will quickly fade away. It’s a semi-permanent color. Use color-safe shampoos and conditioners to clean and wash your hair in cool water as little as possible will help to keep the color longer! To keep the color vivid, you can also use a colored shampoo or conditioner such as Viral or oVertone. Get out of the water as well! The chlorine is going to pull out the light. However note the fun part is that you can try another one once the color on the ends is gone!

Are there any advice? All types of skin / color may wear a dark or shady. The most important thing is to detect your client’s right type of color / hair / skin. Any advice? The silver conditioner Davines Alchemic is the best product for blondes. The hair should be toned once a month with this type of blonde coloring as well.
