The suggestions that someone feels about it? I’d meet with the customer to make sure they stick to using a brand. This design will be sponsored by a hold product and a humidity material, making it comfortable and livable every day.

Layered Long Bob

QA with Chelsea Teasley Hairstylist / Makeup Artist in Dayton Oh How would you describe this style? The long style of bob is meant to be removed or lived in. It was cut in the middle of the back of the shoulder and in the front of the collarbone. Her color is a custom ombré with short hair considerations. I kept the dark underneath, but added the blonde around her face and the crown a little. I love it’s giving her an edgy look, but gentle. She likes to stay dark in her paint, but she wanted a fun summer light. She even stepped for a major cut out of her comfort zone. My guest comes in every 3 months or and, so by that 12-week point, I wanted to give her something that would still look great. The suggestions that someone feels about it? My go-to products are Paul Mitchell Neon Sugar Spray dried into damp hair and Neon Sugar Confection for keeping of long bob hairstyles like this. I gave a blowout to my guest and with a flat iron curled her hair. You could also use an iron pan, but for a cut like this I prefer a flat iron. For people who want this imperfect but versatile look, this bob cut and color works great. This style can be worn curled or waved smoothly. Having a ponytail for women on the go is still long enough.

Asymmetric Lob

QA with Sydni Williamson Hairstylist style creator @ Salon Me Amoure in Aiea Hi How would you describe this style? This look is a textured hairstyle asymmetric lob with a sexy allled beach wave. The suggestions that someone feels about it? It’s a whole feel. Long bob styles like this one are for girls who are a bit edgy but still want something on the low maintenance side that’s a little bit more.

Front Bangs Lob Haircut

QA with fashion designer Jenna Lehman Hairstylist @ The Toronto Queen West Loft in Toronto OnLong Bob with Side-Swept Bangs

QA with Giordano Porfiro Colorist Hairstylist @ RhedCo in Rio Grande do Sul Brasil How would you describe this style? I chose to add texture to her hair’s ends as it creates overall softness and increases movement on her thick hair in particular. We have chose to separate the ends to allow more lightness and mobility by avoiding a wide perimeter (the visible contour line of the hair). As for the color my client is a one-year-old mom meaning she has limited availability for appointments so we selected a low maintenance color that would be great for a running mom. I opt for beige highlights that are sleek and super fashionable by using a tone-on-tone color that fits with her natural blonde. That’s how we built this elegant and realistic modern look for my client’s daily life. The suggestions that someone feels about it? Very flexible and enjoyable to use long bob haircuts. This is for any woman who wants to change her appearance but is still afraid to look like a transformation look for very short or very blonde hair. While holding the length to the front, you can avoid feeling the hairless feeling that makes it easier to become accustomed to the new fashion. The tone-on-tone works in the same way when it comes to skin, lightening the natural tone of the hair up to a maximum of three tones and producing a more realistic sun-kissed look. You can choose between blow-drying for grooming and using a more deconstructed look or just brushing for a more formal approach. To enhance the deconstructed effect, we can also finish with a styling oil or wax to add brightness and even dry shampoo.

Thick Hair

Long Layered Bob How would you describe this style? This style is known for thick hair as a long layered bob. Over or under the arms, we can use variations. To cut the tips and give them volume and movement, I used razor wire scissors for this bob. I left the front portion to make the cut more modern. Instead I finished with a thermal shield and a corrugated brush that gave the bob a natural look. Obviously, this hair is blonde with natural sun-burning lights that make the hair look young and new. The suggestions that someone feels about it? This hair is ideal for modern and stylish women who like to innovate and change their style. Smooth the hair with a brush and use Babyliss to make it wavy. It can be used by people with straight or wavy hair. To retain the smoothness, use a mousse and hairspray.

Beachy Waves Long Bob

Kit Doughty QA with Kit Doughty Stylist in Broomall Pa Split Endz SalonMy best tip for this bob is to keep it nice and graduated with daily salon appointments. Use thermal sprays to take good care of your body.

Live-in Layers

Shauna Belli How do you explain this look and what is your favorite? This is a lob style that has broken layers of living to create movement. Living-in models are a huge trend right now as they look seamless but still so trendy. That’s my favorite part of it! I love haircuts with a quality that has worked. They look brand new, but not fresh. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? I used Arrojo Defrizz Serum (or any smoothing serum that works) and Arrojo Cream Whip (or any volumizing product like a light mousse) before the blow dry to create this bob. Then I used a flat iron rounded edge (my preference is a sultra seductor) to produce a lived-in wave. You run your fingers through them until the waves have cooled. You can spray a dry shampoo or my favorite brand in a texture spray — Puff Me! In my mouth, I spray it and work it through my hair. Even without a finished product, this style looks amazing! What kind of person would work best for this look? I love the length of lifestyle and personality on any face shape age. I think it really opens the face of this bob and gives a youthful look while still being professional. It’s great in their later years for a working woman to stay at home with a teenage mom or even someone. When straight styled, it’s also a great look. It’s so flexible too! What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? Go for it, don’t look back. This is a super trendy super cute super stylish look that is very flexible. It’s loved by everyone who gets this bob!

Classic Blunt Lob Haircut

Nikki Jackson / QA with Nikki Jackson Independent Stylist style creator @ Ego Hair Studio in West Yorkshire, UK. How would you characterize this look and what is your favorite? This is a typical blunt lob cut with a center part. The flexibility of this bob is my favorite thing about it. It’s a solid and traditional form, but for a more relaxed / bohemian feel, it can also have more texture. Lobs give an extra length to look that doesn’t afford shorter haircuts. What items are you going to recommend to keep this look? What kind of person would work for this look? This classic form will suit and flatter any face shape that falls below the jawline. The color is going to suit cool skin tones like somebody in their cheeks with fair skin and a little red. The hue is definitely not going to match olive skin tones as they would be washed out.

A long blonde versatile Bob

Lob cuts are perfect for anyone who’s tired of dealing with really long hair but isn’t quite sure if they want to go to a short bob all the way down. It’s also particularly good for straight or wavy-haired gals with fine hair that gets wispy when it grows too much and is lined at the ends. The lob keeps the s look healthy and growing! What’s your best tip for someone looking at this look? Have a look at some flat iron curling tutorials on YouTube. Trust me when you get the hang of it, it’s fast! If you choose pictures that you like from the cut, try to find those that look similar to the texture of your natural hair, as well as those that are styled as you would like to wear. Take them to your stylist and get your new hairstyle pumped!

Sun Kissed Deep Side Bob

/ QA with Emma Gottwald Hairstylist style at Royals Hair in Sydney Australia How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? This textured lob has a beachy style that is quite lived in. One of the best things about this bob is spending 30 minutes styling this or spraying some sea salt in and spending 30 seconds. It’s very playful and if you don’t have oily hair, you can usually get out of the look for a few days. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? What kind of person would work best for this look? You can cut this bob to suit most shapes of the face. As normal, this look is ideal for an oval-shaped face, but it would also help balance a heart-shaped face. For angular face shapes, I would recommend a more layered version. This bob can be worn effortlessly and flat, but it’s life if you’re like mee texture! This is certainly one for us to be more confident. What’s your best tip for someone looking at this look? If you’re having a long haircut right now and you’re looking to cut it shorter, make sure you’re 100 percent confident that you don’t make it the same day you come up with the idea. Simultaneously, hair is fun and yes, it grows back so why not live a little?

/ QA with fashion designer Aaron Josen Hairstylist @ Aaron Kamerad Hair in Bedfordshire How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it? For me, this bob is a fun, edgy, special woman with a twist of modern times. The best part about making this look is that the hair is one length when the hair is pulled from the back of the head. The hair from the front was cut at a subtle angle when brought forward, allowing the hair to have many dimensions from any angle the hair is viewed. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? Sprinkle the sea salt all the way! It’s perfect when you’ve dried the hair loosely and you need to get out of the house quickly before you get the cup. I used products made by Maria Nila that are 100% vegan. It sounds almost decades old but it’s great to apply mousse to wet hair because it brings more texture to the root zone. The best part about these items is they don’t look like you’ve got anything in your body. What kind of person would work best for this look? Anyone with medium to thick hair coarse hair or fine hair (but much of it!) should wear this cut in my honest opinion. It’s got that blunt look that finishes off the look and makes it look easy. It fits all lifestyles. While this hair can be low maintenance with the infamous triangular look when you can come out of the chair in the wrong hands. If your hair doesn’t agree with humidity, I’d avoid this hairstyle. If you still want the look, you can get a moisture-fighting treatment such as Kerastraight that prevents frizz from your hair. What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? My best advice is to do your homework and find a hair artist who can create this look. Although it may not be hard, you may run the risk of a triangular head that must be avoided at all costs! Make sure that your stylist has a thorough consultation. There’s no hair limitation when you’re in the right hands!Lob cuts are perfect for anyone who’s tired of dealing with really long hair but isn’t quite sure if they want to go to a short bob all the way down. For smooth and tame frizz like Pureology Antisplit Blow Dry Cream, I suggest a lightweight blow dry cream. I like something like Redken Velvet Gelatin for a little bounce as well. Finally, when smoothing or waving, a heat-protective spray with a light hold like Redken Iron Shape is a must. What kind of person would work best for this look? For many types of the head, this haircut is very flexible. To help soften a short forehead or hide a wide forehead, you can add a large bang / fringe. It hits the length of the shoulder so it draws attention down to help stretch a round face. The natural-looking color is low maintenance for guests who like to go longer between the products of color and haircut. The medium length haircut and layers are such that it grows beautifully so that the guest does not have to come back every five to six weeks to reshape for a trim. Clearly, this haircut is on someone with good, slightly thinning hair. To make her hair feel thinner, it has performed very well. The more stringy and thin it appears the longer thin skin. Find a stylist who is experienced in this type of natural look and willing to invest in fashion and styling materials. Please take your time schedule into account ditionally. How often are you going to the salon? How often is it that you blow dry?

Textured Bob Middle Part

/ How are you going to describe this look and what’s your favorite? This is a bob that’s textured. I love it because the girl wants a stylish current look, but she doesn’t want the shortest haircut. It’s a compact mid-length so you don’t need to cut off all your hair to get it done! In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? Next I still put on wet hair like L’anza Leave-In or Unite 75 Seconds leave in spray in a leave-in conditioner. Bring it over and over the hair and let it dry air into this look or blow it out with a paddle comb. Use a curling iron or flat iron to put some loose waves and finish off the bob with a texture spray such as Oribe Texturizing Spray. I love Redken 12 flexible hairspray to keep on to the look. It gives a great hold without being too sticky or too solid! What kind of person would work best for this look? What’s your best tip for someone looking at this look? You have to finish it off with 1-1 1/2-inch curling iron or flat iron to produce these waves, no matter how you dry this look (air dry or blow dry). Left out the ends as you curl to make this sexy lob.

Angled Bob Balayage

QA with> Melissa Carlson Hairstylist @ Winslow Salon in Kirkland Wa How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This is a textured angled lob haircut with a mixture of foils and balayage to create a natural growth outline with a soft dimension. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? If hair is wet, I like using Oribe Grandiose Mousse on the roots. I use Oribe Dry Texture spray after the blow dry and curl to separate the curls with my fingers in order to create texture and a beach lob. I’m finishing off this look with Oribe Supershine to take off frizz and bring the finished look together.

QA with Malorie Talley Cosmetologist and Cosmetology Instructor style creator @ Brian Avery Salon in Northport Al How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? The products that I recommend are a good shampoo and conditioner that won’t weigh down your hair so you can get full movement from the cut. Since bursting, I was using Paul Mitchell Awaphui Wild Ginger Texturizing Sea Spray. Before waving with my Paul Mitchell Smooth smoothing iron, I also used Paul Mitchell Hot off the press. I put a light-hold hairspray (Paul Mitchell Hold Me Tight) in the look to set it in style but still feel natural. What kind of person would work best for this look? I feel like this kind of lob looks great on anybody. I enjoy using this haircut for women with fine thin hair because we cut a straight blunt line and no layers that make the hair look thinner and fuller. I cut layers to create movement in the hair on people with thick hair and also help the hair lay better. I love adding in a swoop bang as well. This gives it an asymmetrical look without asymmetrically cutting it down. This haircut is simple and for any case, it can be worn tousled or styled. What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? Use the grooming paste for some guys. I use a matte paste to run it through the hair tips producing points and texture!

Blunt Messy Long Bob

What’s your best tip for someone looking at this look? My best tip for someone who worries about this bob is that you can’t go wrong. It’s not too short, it’s not too long, and I think you’re going to have a lot of fun with it! If you’re someone who doesn’t want to spend some time on your look, however, this wouldn’t be your best bet. Drying and styling takes some time. After some practice, you can get it down quickly!

Fresh Bob Metallic Undertones

QA with style creator Lorie Therrien Senior Stylist @ Winnipeg Manitoba’s Sapphire Hair Lounge Canada How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it? This lob is new and young! I love this smokey blue metal undertones. It’s so different and interesting. In order to help create and maintain this look, which products would you recommend? To maintain any color, I always recommend a color-safe shampoo and conditioner. What kind of person would work best for this look? This length is great from fine to coarse hair texture on almost everyone. The color on most skin tones is flattering as well. Extra high maintenance is a pastel / metallic paint, so prepare to be in the salon every three to five weeks to keep the color clean! What’s your best tip for someone looking at this look? Looking at the size of this lob! I notice that my clients are more inclined to put extra effort into their hair styling. It’s fast and easy, but a ponytail still has enough hair. It is not always possible to achieve color-wise pre-lighting for palest blonde. When trying out these fun colors, be realistic about expectations! Copper Red Bob with Curls

QA with style creator Anna Johnson vanced Artist @ San Jose California Atelier Salon How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? In order to help create and maintain this look, which items would you recommend? The most significant items are protective of color and water. Always make sure that you invest in your body. I love Aveda’s Daily Color Protect Color Conservation as it contains both. You apply it to towel dried hair and it has no weight whatsoever. Red hair loses vibration faster than other colors and Aveda’s Madder Root Conditioner is a great way to add more longevity to the tone at home. What kind of person would work best for this look? This is one of the most versatile haircuts, working on any shape of the face. There’s enough hair to put into a ponytail, and easier than longer hair to blow dry or curl. Shorter haircuts have more streamlined form relative to longer haircuts. It’s also perfect to improve volume and fullness for fine hair. What’s your best tip for someone looking at this look?I’d characterize this as a blonde living in dimensions on a lob. I love how easy it is to be on the beach! In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? Fashionwaves 07 (sea salt mist) and Fashionwork 12 (light thold hairspray) are recommended to break it down. What kind of person would work best for this look? To suit her outdoor and active lifestyle, I built this low maintenance lob. She can wear it straight or wavy and to match her cool skin tone I picked the tones for longevity. Make friends with a little sea salt spray and a dry shampoo to get this look at home and try not to be too perfect when it comes to styling. Have a lot of fun!

Super Straight Bob

What’s your favorite thing about this look and what? This is a fantastic mid-length bob. The angle created from the back of the haircut to the front with scissors generates a dramatic look I love. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? I would suggest that you get Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum for home styling. Use this material for a smooth and shiny finish when the hair is damp and then blow dry. What kind of person would work best for this look? What’s your best tip for someone looking at this look? Looking at this look, my best tip for women is Don’t be afraid. Go ahead with it!

Long Razor Cut Bob

QA with Rachel Rha Hairstylist style maker @ Shannon Hair Salon in Valencia Ca How would you describe this look and your favorite thing about it? This is a long bob cut with an angled one-length razor. My favorite thing about this look is how it can still be viewed as a classic bob, even if it looks more modern. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? I prepared her hair just on her ends with some Oribe Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream and used a flat brush to straightly smooth her hair. I gave her a few loose curls after blow-drying. To give the hair some texture and volume, I used Oribe dry texturizing spray and finished with Rockaway from R+Co. This is a spray of sea salt that I just brushed with my fingertips through her hair to loosen the curls and give it a more textured feel.
Magnificent Textured Bob

QA with Style Creator Audra Tong Hairstylist and Colorist @ Salon Kingston in Los Angeles Ca How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? This is a trim in the textured slice. My favorite thing about this cut is that it works on almost every part of the neck. What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? The products you would use to maintain this look depends on the hair texture of the person. Before using any hot tools, always start with a heat protector. My favorite is the spray of the Eimi Thermal Image. I like finishing the look with Redken Wind Blown to split the ends and show the texture. For any face shape, I would recommend this cut. For thin hair and women who already have straight hair, it works well. I recommend that you do a longer version to keep weight if you have dense or rough hair.

A Very Long Bob with Caramel Highlights

How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This is a very long bob with highlights sunkissed to brighten the look of the natural balayag. It’s extremely low maintenance as we left her natural base color to grow out easily! I love the longer bob cut because styling is super easy. For a beachy look or smooth look, throw a few loose curls in and straighten it out for a sleek look. What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? Until blow-drying, I consider using a leave-in conditioner to apply a heat-protective oil until heat styling. Use a 1 1/4-inch curling iron to throw some quick curls out of the curling iron in the hair. Then run your fingers through the hair to loosen the curls with a flexible hold hairspray! What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? This style is known as lob and is one of today’s salon’s most requested haircuts. The versatility it has in styling options is my favorite thing about this long bob cut. For an effortless feel, you can curl it straight or even let your natural texture loose. What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? I recommend Keune sea salt spray Keune volume powder for long bob haircuts similar to this and Keune medium hold hairspray for the ultimate textured curls. What kind of customer would you recommend this look for? This is perfect hairstyle for you if you’re looking for something stylish but very low in maintenance! Trendy Long Inverted Bob Cut

I’d say try it out for an easy-going style and not too much maintenance!

QA with Lisa King Entrepreneur design designer @ MissKing in Perth West Australia How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? Feminine and modern, this choppy long bob is fun. I love the feminine feeling! I’d use a sea salt spray before blow drying. To describe the body, finish off the bob with a light wax. What kind of customer would you recommend this look for? Messy long bobs such as this are best suited for fine hair. For someone who doesn’t have a huge amount of time and wants a quick and trendy look, it’s a great option. This haircut will flatter the majority of face shapes. The color of this company was developed using a technique of foiling using two separate blonde tones. She has a base color that is naturally light.
