I like to prepare the hair with a primer in order to style this cut. I used the Invisible Oil Primer Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser. Although heat styling, it protects the skin. I used a 1-inch wand for the waves after the blow dry. I alternated the wave from the back (forward and backward) and left the ends off. It’s what produces the beach wave of signature. Pull the strand slightly after each wave to soften the wave. Complete with your favorite spray wax or pomade to bring out the hair texture. Regardless of lifestyle, if done properly, anybody can pull this look. When making a big change, it is easy to look trendy and a great choice.
Stylist Make-Up Artist Dreamy Espresso Brown with Caramel Highlights

QA How would you describe this look? This look is as simple as it is trendy. The haircut brings more exposure to the face because a lot of hair does not conceal it. Using highlights in some scanning often creates dimension to add more form and appeal to the haircut. This haircut is perfect as it will improve the appearance of clients with an oval or heart-shaped face. Round or square shapes of the face may not like a cut like this because it may improve the features they may want to hide. The suggestions that someone feels about it?
Lovely Mid-Length Angled Bob Shag

QA with Master Stylist This look is a medium-length angled bob haircut with relaxed waves. What I love about this look is that with lots of loose texture it can be worn polished and elegant or dirty. The suggestions that someone feels about it? To those with a round head, this haircut is perfect as angular shapes narrow the eyes. It is best to keep the length above or below the chin (not right at the chin) to elongate a round face. I love dry shampoo and spray wax at the ends if you’re going for this lived in a textured look! The dry shampoo Evo Water Killer on the roots at the ends of the dry spray wax Evo Shebang-a-bang is my two favorites to support this look. The key to creating waves like this is to leave the ends 1-2 inches straight to maintain the length and create a casual style, alternating between two curls away from the face and one in the direction. I recommend that you enter the salon every 6-8 weeks to keep this haircut! Wonderful Espresso Brown Inverted Bob
Master Stylist QA
How would you describe this look?QA with Barber Stylist How would this look be described? I would have described this look as a slightly asymmetrical short textured A-line bob. This elongates her face and gives her a lived-in fresh look so she can wear it in different ways. The suggestions that someone feels about it? I would say if you consider this haircut while it’s super cute and trendy to make sure you don’t mind your hair being in your face and you might not be able to pull it back as easily as you used to. That being said, if you don’t bother with those stuff then I’d go for it totally! If you’re a lower maintenance person who doesn’t style their hair, note with these short haircuts this cut may not be for you. But if you don’t care about styling, it would be a wonderful choice to change your look!
Wavy Hair

Soft Brown to Sandy Blonde Bob How would you describe this look? I’m gentle and waves are always creating a perfect balayage. This length can flatter almost anyone in particular and is particularly good if you take the extra time to add a soft wave. Make sure that you curl away from the face, but then alternate the forward and backward direction throughout the rest of the hair. The suggestions that someone feels about it? Only below the collarbone, you can’t really go wrong with a distance. Blunt hair is better for finer hair. For thicker hair, inquire through the ends for more texture. Just don’t take too much weight off because sometimes you need it to help you weigh a lot of hair down. For any lifestyle, this is a great length as you can still put it up if necessary, and drying time is much faster. Personally, I use a curling iron to wave hair, but at the end I pull down to straighten the ends to give it a beachy look.
Thin Hair Modern Medium Bob

Instagram QA with Hairdresser I’d describe it as a modern and modern hairstyle. The bob haircut is a chic iconic look that keeps a heavy blunt feeling through the hair ends and is cut over the shoulders to focus on the face. The bold blonde color is a technique of freestyle that combines the highlights of balayage and baby. My favorite thing about this look is this hair color because it feels fresh and effortless just in time for spring! The suggestions that someone feels about it? My advice to a customer considering this look is that this hairstyle is very chic and easy to maintain as long as you are willing to cut off several inches to get the blunt bob effect! Simply add a loose bend or wave to the surface spray a textured spray and fluff to finish once the hair is released! Make sure to pick a blonde that complements your skin tone and color of the eye as far as the hair color goes. The suggestions that someone feels about it? This haircut will provide customers with the right hair texture with an effortless morning. With hair products I used R+Co Chiffon mousse to provide volume and motion before blowing dry. I used Loma Nourishing Oil for clarity and smoothness after the blow dry.
Aveda Hair Artist Chic Dark Chocolate Brown Layered Bob
QA How would you describe this look? I’d describe this very trendy and modern bob style. For many face shapes, I find it’s practical and attractive. The texture I created in her layers is my favorite part of this haircut. It adds to the hair a soft element and can be easily styled as if it were natural. Ultimately, I think this haircut’s texture takes this classic bob to the next level. The suggestions that someone feels about it? I created this look with a 1-inch curling iron emphasizing the bend with the ends sticking out in the center of the hair line. For this look, I would suggest any kind of texture or volumizing spray or mousse, as it brings out the natural texture of the skin. Instagram How would you characterize this look?
Very A-Lined Lob

I’d characterize this look as a slightly a-lined lob which means it’s longer on the front than on the back. The lovely thing about this fashion is that it is basically popular and just about everyone looks good. She can wear it in waves or straight with this specific guest without anything that looks unbalanced or heavy. I shaped the layers in such a way that one mixes gently into the next one and nothing is choppy. This look has a longer grow-out period so that every four weeks she won’t feel pressured to enter the salon. Without losing its form, this style can be preserved every 8 to 10 weeks. I like this cut’s versatility. It’s always a fashion-forward and sophisticated look, whether it’s worn straight wavy in a topknot or with a scarf. A nice thing about a general lob is that the guest getting the haircut can be fine-tuned by a stylist. When she needs more layers around her head, the stylist will determine the shape of her face and step on accordingly. If the guest needs less layering, the stylist can do that without any major changes in this style’s maintenance. The suggestions that someone feels about it? Remember a few things: 1. If a guest gets shorter from a longer style, then don’t automatically assume that less hair means less work. This requires heat styling, meaning that time is spent either drying blows or drying air after curling. 2. If a guest grows her hair in this style, it will most likely have to be reshaped every four to six weeks as the weight (or layers) is spread. The right shape will make it easy to style the wrong shape that trick somebody into thinking that their hair doesn’t lay properly in this style even though it’s just the unbalanced haircut that grows out. 3. It needs heat styling to retain this look again. If a guest is unfamiliar with a curling iron or is inexperienced with it, I recommend arranging a training appointment so that their stylist can teach them how to curl. Use pictures you like as a reference to picture the same goal for both of you. Note that curling hair properly is a skill that has been learned, and somebody will take time to perfect their go-to look. How are you going to describe this look? How subtle and organic it is is what I love most about this look. At the end of our appointment, she said that when she had naturalalsun-kissed highlights, her hair reminded her of her childhood. That made me feel amazing! The suggestions that someone feels about it? If a customer is searching for more organic and low-maintenance appearance that still has dimensions, this is the way forward. She has naturally wavy hair so for some structure and a little hold I suggested adding a salt mist to the skin. Keune’s BLEND sea salt spray is one of my favorites. What’s unique about this brand is that it can still use 1 1/4-inch curling iron to incorporate loose curls and make it look more composite.
Professional Asymmetrical Bob

Instagram QA with Hairstylist Make-up Artist This particular look I integrated into my client’s cut and the color is professional and fashionable. What’s amazing about this long asymmetric bob is that it gives a sense of elegance and for most career-driven women it’s the perfect style. Maintaining and keeping out of the way during a busy working day is easy. Shorter cuts can also make the customer look older and more mature so that people are more serious about taking them. What’s amazing about this bob is that it still leaves her young and youthful when combined with the blonde babylights and balayage. By adding texture / waves or changing her part, she can go from a working woman to a girls night out look. It’s so versatile and fun to have this bob look at any age. The suggestions that someone feels about it? In terms of this look, if a client was in my chair, I would discuss and cover several bases to see if it was a suitable look for them. As I said before the bob is versatile so you can do a lot with it to make it suitable for all styles of hair. For someone with fine hair, a blunt bob can be perfect because it looks like the hair is smoother and full of skin. For thicker hair, a textured bob can be used to add dimensional layers and take out some weight so that the hair on the ends is not so heavy or fluffy. Career-wise if you are someone we should find a longer bob (lob) with enough length to be able to pull back into a low pony for your career. If you want your bob to look smoothly finished, it’s best to blow your hair with a round brush to give it that look and feel just left the salon. A great product for this look would be a blowout balm together with blow drying to help shape and hold the style. The beach wave / textured look is another possibility for styling. With a lived-in feeling, this look is super easy. With a curling iron or brush, you can achieve this look along with great products such as a textured spray or a volumizing powder.
Golden Blonde Medium Length Bob

Instagram QA with Stylist The lob depicted in this photo is a great cut for a woman who wants the advantages of shorter hair while still being able to secure it away from the face and chest. The advice that someone thinks about it? Fine to medium hair will be the right candidate for a lob. Coarse hair tends to extend in such designs, making it look more like a helmet. If the hair is styled correctly, it should be allowed to bend down at the ends to make shaping easier. Face-framing depends on the face shape of the client and the bob’s length. There are more choices with a lob to improve the shape of the head. For example, properly placed framing will create more angles to slim down a rounder face. It all depends on the individual needs of the consumer. The type of hair plays a major role in goods. The customer has a lot of fine hair in the picture. To build memory and size, we used mousse. How would you describe this look? This would be a silver reflection of steel blue. It is meant to be icy and with the deep cool it reflects a more winter glacial look that creates the contrast to the more subtle silver ends. We love the movement towards more color depth where it is not a flat tone but a complementary hue facet. Bleaching is harmful to the hair irrespective of what is used to make it necessary to have a strict home regime. We recommend a variety of protein-based masks to contract the yellow tones, followed by a hydrating mask and either a violet or blue shampoo. When washed, these types of colors require maintenance but require only one wash once or twice a week. It will match most skin tones hair and face shapes but may need a slight change in makeup tones so that the hair color does not overshadow your characteristics! More importantly, for this kind of color the wearer should have a confident attitude! It’s supposed to be fun and chic with the ice queen’s touch.

QA Barcelona Free Hairstylist / Colorist How would you describe this look? This look will quickly fade away as the hair is bleached to level 9 (nearly a platinum 1). To get that silvery look, you need to bleach it so much. First of all, if you’re a guy who doesn’t really care about hair color, this one isn’t for you. Second, it bleaches the hair. So even if the hairdresser takes care of the hair, it’s always bleached and it’s going to dry the hair out. Keep in mind that to keep it clean and shiny, you need to hydrate and condition the hair as much as possible. I recommend Olaplex N3 as a (most known) poor remedy. L’OrĂ©al shampoo / moisturizer and oil (all three components of pro-mythic origin). Even though it is bleached to the highest levels, this look is still organic, but those ashy tones offer it a more edgy look. On girls with long hair, this color looks good because it gives more dimension. Usually it’s better to look at girls who don’t use a lot of makeup (it’s all about natural edge), but even if you have a lighter or darker skin tone, it looks good.
Gold Children’s lightTo achieve this color, it can take many hours and many visits in the chair of your hairdresser. I love how well these two colors mix together to create what I like to call ‘ pale violet silver fox. ‘ You will also want to schedule a bleach re-touch and tone every 3-4 weeks when it comes to maintenance. So definitely plan for the price of your new locks ahead and budget. Once you get your new look you’re going to want to secure your investment with the right products. Purple shampoo and daily dietary therapy will be the best friends of your new platinum blonde hair. Because of hard water sun exposure and daily shampooing, cool light blonde hair will quickly fade to pale yellow. Using a tone-correcting purple shampoo and using a deep conditioning treatment on a weekly basis will keep away yellow and dullness and help maintain the blonde hair color of lavender / platinum.

Ice Blue Silver
How would you describe this look? This look is a blue-violet smoke pastel. My favorite thing about this look is how far we have come from the start! I wish I had taken a picture before because she had one of her friends (who isn’t a stylist) doing home retouching of her bleach. We took her to the right canvas with the right tools and a lot of patience to do the color she was looking for. I have to admit the smile on her face when she saw the end result was for me the best thing in the world. I would encourage customers to consider what their natural color is and to understand that the more dark their hair the more difficult it is to achieve this look. Unless you start with a dark canvas, this look will most probably not be accomplished in one sitting. I always strongly encourage all my customers who get any kind of vivid color to leave the living room with a material that is not guaranteed to last the day otherwise. Using poor quality shampoo and products at home will strip these beautiful colors out very quickly especially silver because if you don’t take care of it properly, it’s one of those colors that fade. Knowing their lifestyle is the last thing I still recommend to clients. The less frequently you wash your hair the better for colors like this. I usually suggest that customers fire 1-2 times a week and, if possible, use dry shampoo in them. This look is also something that can be time-consuming and costly every 4-6 weeks. I also ask customers about their budget and what their maintenance schedule would like to be before we determine whether this is practical for them or not. How would you characterize this look?

QA with Balayage Vivid Specialist It was a lot of fun to do this super sultry ashy silver. After using dark box dye in her hair for several years, this guest came to me and was ready for a change. The suggestions that someone feels about it? It can be quite an undertaking to achieve these types of pastel and metallic tones. Since pastels and silvers have such a low pigment size, the hair must be very light blonde (almost pure white) to make them appear. Sometimes it can take multiple sessions to get the hair color to a suitable blank canvas so it is incredibly important to be patient to avoid over-processing or damaging the hair’s health and integrity. High maintenance may also be required to maintain these soft tones. Every hair color fades with time and we prefer to see them fade back to blonde much faster when working with pastels or metallics than with darker colors. That is why it is important to have a successful haircare routine at home. I usually recommend that you do not shampoo more than twice a week and that you use a pigmented hair mask every other week to keep the color on the spot! (My preference is Gold Deep Treatment Overtone).
The suggestions that someone feels about it? I’m referring to my guests who want this kind of light. It takes time and investment for these colors but they have fun with the process! Until you’re there, enjoy every point. Each time, it’s a whole new look. I don’t want them to feel disappointed and hate their hair in between sessions. I like to take it a little deeper when applying the silver to give it more time before it fades out. I tell them to leave with a darker gray smokey that’s going to fade beautifully and give them more time with their new color of style. To them, nothing is worse than spending so much time getting there and then in a few washes making it fade away.

This makes the ability to keep up with the white platinum look very complicated, but without the pressure of having to keep up every four weeks with the re-growth. As for styling, after spraying Kenra Hot Spray in the skin, I use a 1 1/2-inch Bio Ionic ceramic curling iron to make sure the hair is safe from heat damage. / QA with Stylist IIII Educator This is a dark gray deep steel brown with the slightest brown glimmer. To create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend? The length of time it actually lasts is a common misconception that consumers have about these colors. We are going dark in their minds, but hairdressers realize that while the tone of gray is deep, underneath it is actually blonde. Since the desired tone is so ashy, we put the dark gray toner directly on the blonde hair without first using a filler to give the toner little glue to hang on. This makes very high maintenance of these colors. I definitely recommend that you wash less and use less water. Water and heat open each time the cuticle releases more and more of your toner and triggers fading. (Which can be a good thing if they like to change their hair color a lot!) Make sure you use professional products to make sure that your color investment lasts as long as possible. I love Oribe’s line of Gold Lust. It’s highly moisturizing and highly reparative. Just make sure that you also use a decent leave-in conditioner! Supershine by Oribe is my holy grail leave-in conditioner. Use the Gold Lust dry shampoo from Oribe if you feel a little sticky between washes. It removes all the oil and does not give a coated or gritty feel to your skin! How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it? This look I describe as a metallic winter steel. The burst of color and the violet and blue undertones are my favorite thing about it. To create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend? I used 8SM by Guy Tang + Paul Mitchel Pop color in shade steel after lightening with Wella Freelights to obtain and preserve this hair color. To build a smooth and timeless look, I mixed a level 3N with its metallic ends for the roots. It’s key to blend! This look is for those who are not too stubborn with the natural colors but at heart daring. This dazzling metallic shade is ideal for those sheek hearts that rock their own drum. This look is rock and roll humble even. Fit for skin tone and hair type of any age. Be prepared: Depending on hair texture and thickness, this look is mastered over time and several lightening sessions. So be careful with your stylist, but be patient with your hair above all else. The hair integrity is MOST critical!
Silver Dimensional Bob

/ How would you characterize this look and what’s your favorite? I call this look dimensionally silver because to offer a multi-dimensional effect, I purposely put some highs and lows in the hair. I do this with a lot of color regardless of the tone because I find the most attractive hair color has depth. It has less movement if color is just one-note and tends to look like a wig. To create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend? First of all, only a specialist can try these tones. For this customer I used L’Oreal Professionnel’s high lift Majirel color to lighten her natural hair and then glaze with a semi-permanent color. Thanks to their durability compared to semi-permanent colors I like to use semi-permanent color for style shades whenever possible. And because they don’t move to the pillow cases and clothes of my customers. It’s going to be easy for her to keep this color because her hair is still in good condition to make the color last. We followed her beauty service with a Pro Fiber treatment that strengthens the hair and preserves the color and she uses the shampoo and conditioner Pro Fiber color-safe. It’s a quick in-salon service any time she wants to refresh the sound. If she doesn’t refresh the voice, she’ll gradually fade into the pretty iced blonde she’s got below. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? Definitely your hair should suit your own personality and style. This customer is in the 60 + age category and over the past several years has been almost every color. She has a great sense of style and holds a very chic and traditional look even when doing the trends. To anyone who looks good in cool tones, gray tones work. If you’re not sure if you’re looking for cool tones or hot tones, ask your stylist. I advise stylists who find it difficult to decide whether cold or hot tones look best to buy a large swatch of silver lame fabric and gold lame fabric. Hold under the chin one of the swatches that drapes the shoulders. Look at the face and hair in the mirror. Repeat then with the other swatch. The color that looks best on them will usually jump out to you. It is the one that gives healthy glow to their skin tone and makes the color of their eyes show. You would prefer cool color tones if silver looks better against your hair. When gold looks best, hot color tones should be preferred.
Medium Length Silver Hair

/ QA Hairstylist How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? This look I’d describe as very fashionable and forward-looking. What I like about this look is that every day you don’t see it! That clearly separates you from others and also demonstrates your personality and style. To create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend?
Master Colorist
/ QA How would you characterize this look and what is your favorite? I’d describe this look as an ice blonde with roots. I love the contrast between the darker base and the scanned blonde’s light pops all over. I feel like this captures the color lived in that everyone has recently accepted. So many times icy blondes and gray blondes may seem one-dimensional, but I love that this look has a lot of cool shades to compliment others! I would definitely recommend to preserve this look with the right gloss / toner. I still inform my balayage customers that the icy and silver customers come for maintenance every five to six weeks. To keep those cool tones refreshed and keep the shine factor high, I like to re-gloss them in the pan. You never want a blonde of silver or ash to be dark or plain. I used my favorite Redken Shades EQ in this look and did the same 9V 9P and 9 T bits. I also like to submit a strong blue-based shampoo to my client’s home for home use. My current favorite is Oligo blue shampoo! What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? The great thing about this look is it can fit with any type of hair and tone of the skin. Customers with a darker hair color will have to be cautious and realize that to achieve this look while maintaining the integrity of the hair is a multiple appointment process to lighten the hair. Blondes love this look because without 100% commitment, it’s something new, fresh and fun! If I had a client in my chair who usually spends months between appointments, I’d also make sure to let them know that the silver hair color can fade over time with several washes unless they come in for their six-week gloss to keep their color where they want it!
Stylist / Owner Dark Silver

/ QA How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it? This is a deep silver look in its own elegance which is striking and subtle. It makes me feel as if that person, while maintaining a humble nature, exudes strength and trust. When you ask me, that’s strong and inspiring! Which items do you suggest that this look be created and maintained? I prescribe Loreal Vitamino sulfate-free shampoo and Loreal Vitamino Color Save Conditioner for daily use in order to maintain this color. Use Fanola No Yellow Shampoo and Loreal Vitamino Fresh Feel Mask for weekly or biweekly maintenance. Avoid washing as much as you can, and when shampooing and conditioning use lots of cold water. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? It can pull off this look to be frank anyone with the faith to rock it and the willingness to keep it. The color will flatter the olive to pale skin tone, while warmer skin tones can contrast with it. But we all know that makeup can do things that are magical! On a person who is very busy or who uses a lot of heat (hot tools) on their skin, hair will dry out and fade quickly. It comes down to people able to exercise the holy trinity of hair on a regular basis. The 3Ts were additives and trimmings for toners. The more natural the hair ends with the better light. I’m not suggesting that this color is not possible on darker hair, it depends on the lightening level needed. Multiple sessions may require a lot of understanding and acceptance of patience cooperation from both the stylist and the client. Icy White

QA with Hair Colorist / Owner How are you going to describe this look and what’s your favorite? It is also important for the person to have the budget to maintain this kind of color and to understand the level of commitment that comes with it. If your skin is dark brown red black or painted box, this color will not soon occur. It will take multiple sessions and you must be willing to cut off a few inches because your hair will be extremely harmful to the system.
Hairstylist Silver Blonde
QA How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it? This is a silver blonde hue, and how soft and vivid it is my favorite thing about it! It fits perfectly with her grays as well. Which products have you been using to create this look? I use Matrix So Silver Shampoo as it has a purple tint to keep the skin ashy. I also suggest Redken Diamond Oil Conditioner to add loads of shine to Redken Stay High 18 hair as a volumizer and Redken Pillow Proof Primer to minimize blow drying time. Finally, for heat safety, I suggest Redken Iron Shape 11 and hold the loose waves longer! This look is great for consumers who don’t mind getting the color updated in every three or four weeks. Silver hair is beautiful, but a lot of maintenance is required! Lightening the hair often requires regular treatments to avoid breakage, so a busy person who is always on the go may not be the best fit for this kind of look.
Platinum multi-dimensional

How would you characterize this look and what is your favorite? Describe this look as a platinum blonde multi-dimensional. This color is very profound and still develops wonderfully! I’m fascinated with the scale of ice blondes. Which items do you suggest that this look be created and maintained? I used Moroccan Oil Moroccan Beach Wave Mousse and Moroccan Oil Dry Texture Spray to create this finished look for lifting and lighter holding and finished with a hairspray. I love the fine hair look! What kind of customer do you suggest this look for?
Hairstylist Silver Lavender

It is very important to have expectation conversations with your customers so they are clear about how to get the color (timing pricing how many appointments etc.) and how to keep the color (shampoo less shampoo in cold water shampoo etc.). I just love this color and recommend trying it to people. Let’s all be foxes of silver!
Pearly Blonde Silver Hair Toner

How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? It’s a beautiful blonde look. The gentle tones and bright blonde are my favorite things about it. Which items do you suggest that this look be created and maintained? I used Olaplex Wella Professional Blond and Toner Re-lights. I’d use Fudge violet toning shampoo to hold the color up. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for?
Men’s Silver Steel Color

QA with Salon Ambassador This look is described as strong like steel! You also need the charisma to pull off something like this. The way it compliments his skin tone is my favorite thing about it. Gray hair is no longer all about age, it’s a statement. To create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend? It’s a must for silver shampoo! Some of my highlights are De Lorenzo Nak Blonde Plus and Alfaparf Grey Pride. Often recommended is a heat protection spray as heat styling can affect the sound. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? I would recommend that you look for someone willing to take care of your home and keep up with regular visits! For someone who is swimming a lot or has lots of red / pink undertones, I wouldn’t suggest it. Flirty Fun

QA with Hairstylist How are you going to describe this look and what’s your favorite?

Hairstylist QA How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? It has a deeper feeling for this silver. I love that with a highlighting technique we broke up her roots that will give her a nice development. I sent her home Viral Extreme Silver ColorWash and Kevin Murphy Hydrate.me rinse to preserve her beautiful color. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? That shade requires a lot of upkeep, so it’s the perfect look for clients who don’t care about the salon’s maintenance and long hours.
Silver Red Ombre

QA with Hairstylist How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? Surely this look is an innovative approach to the silver world. I built a look that suits every season. I created something eye-popping by combining warm and cool tones that stands out from the vivids you see every day. Honestly, my favorite thing about this look is how versatile it is and how unique it is above all. I don’t see this hair color in public. To create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend? What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? Personally, if you can get your hair to platinum, I believe this look can be pulled off by anyone. Maybe you can switch the tones a little bit to make the gray even bluer or go in a purple tone direction. On your skin type, you just need to be adventurous about different colors and what your tastes might be. If you’re unsure, your stylist should be able to direct you to a color that suits you best. All that said and done this look may not work for you if you are unable to break the habit of hair washing or if you often swim in chlorine pools. If not cared for properly, the color can fade quickly and you don’t really want to waste hundreds of dollars and wash the color down the drain literally.
Grunge Silver Ombre Hair

QA with maker style Chelsea Redman Hair stylist How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? Grey hair can’t be hidden anymore. It’s still sexy grunge! My favorite thing about this look is how it is hand painted in its natural color which makes it soft and elegant to look smokey gray. Which items do you suggest that this look be created and maintained?

QA to the owner of the salon How would you describe this look and what is your favorite? I would describe this look as a state-of – the-art pixie cut! In its idea, it’s really very 60s, but it has many new techniques that give it a contemporary edge. Using clippers to create the faded undercut and giving it that edge the silver tone! It’s really a look created by modern fashion’s freedom. Which items do you suggest that this look be created and maintained? I love the FUDGE Big Hair collection for the finished look! I continue with the Mega Hair Milk blow drying. It’s great because it’s not too heavy on shorter hair. The Elevate styling power is brilliant because it creates a great texture that really needs this look. Equally a strong FUDGE Matte He d styling wax is fantastic and provides some clarity. I like finishing it off with some FUDGE Skyscraper mist for some keep as well. What kind of customer would you recommend this look for? For anyone, I’d recommend this look! I think you look great as long as you feel fine. With so many combinations, it’s such a flexible cut and paint. It can be tailor-made for any customer, regardless of the type of body. If you want to be on the trend and stand out, it’s a great look as well. Combining the silver tones with the pixie cut is such a beautiful and elegant way to imitate all the other hair!

QA with Co-Owner How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This is a short to medium-sized textured haircut with a kind of laid back attitude. Which items do you suggest that this look be created and maintained? As we all know, silvers and gray and even ash colors do not last particularly long in the hair if the hair were pre-lit before the toner was added. To preserve the color as long as possible, I would recommend using AVEDA’s Color Conserve Shampoo and Conditioner. Always gives durability to your paint when mixing Olaplex in with these colors. I would recommend using Wella Color Fresh 10/81 if the customer wants to keep up the tone at home. Customers will take this semi-permanent shampoo home. To restore any color fading, it is filled with blue / gray tones. I love the Thickening Tonic of AVEDA as well. The drug stretches the strands from roots to ends, making the hair look and feel thicker immediately. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? I think silver grays or ash tones match the skin tones of rosy pink beige or pearl / porcelain. Greyish green or light blue eyes and silver hair look great. Ideally, the natural hair of a customer would be medium to dark blonde ash.
Bob Bob

As far as hair type is concerned, if you are someone with a medium to fine texture and a 8-6 base level (1 being the darkest and 10 being the lightest), this color will work for you simply because it would be easier to maintain and style. If you are someone who needs lots of heat styling equipment like flat irons and curlers, this color may be more difficult to maintain because heat can make the silver hair tones fade faster and cause damage to the lightened skin. Always use ideally something that nourishes the hair with a great heat protecting and covers up to 450 degrees like Agadir’s Argan Oil Hair Shield.
Black Silver Braids

What’s your favorite thing about this look? I describe this look like a gray braided shadow root. I made a double French braid that only put hair from one side of each braid into the braid. Then I added a tiny braid in the middle. I pulled out the tiny braid parts for texture and also pulled out some of the French braid to add fullness. I love how the braids represent the color aspect! To create and maintain this look, what products do you recommend? All J Beverly Hills were the items I used for this look. I was planning for Detangle and Glaze Me. I used Mousse Up to look. I used a little Finissage when I braided for power after drying. I sprinkled some volumes on the braids before pulling the braids out to give them some grip when pulling. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for?
Agate Slice

QA with Salon Owner / Hairstylist I named this look agate slice because when it was finished it looked like looking at a thin slice of agate (a form of crystal). This is an icy, metallic blonde with light brown lowlights of silver and metal. I love how the silver tones of the aqua in different light forms are underlying. My favorite thing about this look is that the usual summer blonde is a unique take. It’s completely different from the blonde beach we see all the time. To create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend? I used L’anza Healing Color to build the feel. I started in the shampoo bowl with the Ultimate Treatment. I mixed 1N 3N 1:1 with Demi Developer for a little darker smudge of her heart. At the same time, in a hand-painted balayage technique, I used L’Anza Decolorizer mixed with 20 vol to lift her previous gunmetal shade easily and without damage. Both mixtures provided medication for L’Anza injury to protect and repair the body. I washed with L’Anza Healing Colorcare Shampoo and then added L’Anza Hair Attach phase 1 to towel dried hair and overlaid various mixtures of L’anza Vibes in Smoke and Clear from root to tip with the lightest pastelized mixture on the hair tips. The color was wonderfully filtered on her pre-lightened Level 8-10 balayage blended underlying tones. I ended with Phase 2 of L’Anza Color Attach. Olaplex used as guided and Olaplex 2 before shampoos were applied to all formulations. For preserve, I prescribe the goods of L’anza Healing Color Care and Celeb Luxury Viral Silver Shampoo cut in half with daily shampoo of color care. You can also make an Olaplex Color Bomb to take home with Olaplex 3. That particular customer is already sitting at a natural level 7-8 which makes it relatively easy to reach the higher blonde level which encourages silver tones. She has a natural golden / olive skin tone so she isn’t washed out by the chic blonde. This customer will achieve this look in an ideal one-time visit. She knows that frequent visits and care at home hold her attention on the place! She’s really a silver-tone design user. This takes several lightening sessions for any darker natural tones. Purple Pink

It would be a rollercoaster ride if you pulled a curtain on that break. It starts with quite a fading of the conservatory skin and with no warning whatsoever and BAM Lady Gaga! All round bright colors on top and wavy free hair. Multi-Color

A daring cut consisting of almost everything making a statement. On the top you get the medium to long hair pointing a combination of bright colors and lines on both sides of the head daringly upwards.

For Anime’s great fans. Wide batched pointy spikes all pointed forward with full thick bodies and painted white at the edges. Whether you’re a sort of t-shirt man, something to remember.
Fun Edgy and Blue

Stylist Instagram QA How would you describe this look? This look I’d describe as fun and edgy! I love playing with fashion colors and it came from video games and anime characters that inspired me for this look. My favorite thing about this look is the different shades of color that pop up and how many different haircut looks you can make! I personally believe they should go for it if somebody wants a certain theme! Of course, make sure that this type of style is right for whatever job you have and that you are aware of the maintenance it requires. I recommend that you have all the right products to prolong the sensation, such as acolor protector, and anything that hydrates to prevent dry hair.
Bottom
Real Black and GreenEverything you need to build this look is a dry effect material, no matter what the hair style. For a cool messy result, frizzy or matted hair is actually the best. Instagram How would you characterize this look?
Highlighted Disconnected Combover

This is a disconnected combover illustrated. How quick this look is to pass around and play with it is what I like most about it. It looks stylish and fits well in a formal or casual environment for just about everyone. The suggestions that someone feels about it? A customer who wants this look must have a versatile hair that can be pulled back if it does not fall down. The hair must also be a little wavy or smooth, but not too curly. A suitable color or highlights will produce a brilliant, more edgy and total effect. Instagram How would you characterize this look?
Purple Green Salmon Aged Metal

This look is identical to old metal. Throughout natural forms, contrasts appear and are muted with matte effects. My favorite thing about the look is to note that in age there is elegance. There is more meaning and intent as things mature, and in simplicity the mind will appreciate the beauty. I used Sebastian Dry Clean Only to give this look a matte effect and sprayed it into the hair’s roots and massaged it in. This will also encourage a customer to miss a day of hair washing so that the color can last longer. The suggestions that someone feels about it? Using Wella Color Create direct dye that shampoos out in 20 washes, this look was made. Someone who needs to keep it a little more traditional on one side of the head can get this color and on the other side keep a more natural blonde. It helps them to change their position and switch their color in turn. My client gave me artistic freedom as we did a photo shoot. He said he was interviewing so we were vigilant about color selection making sure to use the more vibrant colors at the hair base and a lighter pastel hue at the ends. The colors are bold but put to offer a more washed look in a soft pattern. It worked because there was a good interview!
Black Curls SmokeyThis look is great for those guys who want to change their look completely. The smokey color can fade into a slight, soft blonde that can produce a rough and gritty look that is more undone. Using a slate gray shampoo or a platinum blue shampoo can be easy to maintain this look. It’s the method that puts people off. Within one moment, you may not reach the perfect tone and it may take a few applications to get correct. Be patient and it’s going to come! The hair’s texture will shift with bleaching making it difficult to get that beautiful soft finish. Some will find that to get that finish they need to use more oil. I recommend Label M Radiance Oil because most hair styles fit well. It seems to be very fashion-inspired guys who go for this look. For those with a more traditional job or lifestyle, putting smaller, finer color pieces would be an option. The shades of grey will vary making it work for hair types and eye colors in a variety of face shapes. Instagram QA with Hairstylist How would you characterize this look?

This look is great because it is on the artistic color spectrum’s more natural side. Men looking to explore the fun and creative side of hair tend to lean first towards the silver / ashy blonde rather than jumping in the head first, for example, with bright blues or greens. It can be hard to maintain imaginative colors. The suggestions that someone feels about it? Eufora Blonde Color Revive is my favorite blonde hair brand. It’s a deep purple conditioning mask that neutralizes any yellow hair tones while leaving your hair feeling great! It is a must to invest in a good at-home care conditioner. With this color, it is important to maintain the quality of your hair as bleaching can be harmful to the skin. To those with naturally very curly hair, I would not suggest this hair color because it is more porous than any other hair texture and can easily be damaged during the lightening process. This color’s engagement rate can either be high to keep up with the regeneration / roots or low! The great thing about short hair is that you can quickly cut your hair if you don’t feel like keeping up with the upkeep of this color and it will be cut out in no time.

Hair Colorist / Make-up Artist Instagram QA How would you explain this look? This look I’d describe as very New Orleans boho! My favorite thing about this look is how it feels like the bright orange in the dark. I decided to give him a lot of dimensions while keeping it enjoyable and that’s why we choose to melt for this beautiful peach sunset. Choose a color that suits your lifestyle well! Your personal style plays an enormous role in what colors are best suited for you. If you’re a person wearing lots of bright colors, you might want to choose a lighter pastel hair color that won’t contrast with bolder parts. Lifestyle also plays a key role in choosing a look that suits you best. People with a more traditional lifestyle may want to add color to their look slowly! Starting with some color in your bangs or a hair segment is a great way to see which colors you like best. Hair form also plays a big part in how you see your hair. For example, a person wearing their hair curly may seem to have a darker color as opposed to someone wearing their hair straight. Straight hair reflects more light, making the entire look lighter and brighter in effect! Finally, investing in the right products is the best way to maintain this dreamy colorful look. Color-safe shampoos without sulfate are a must! Once you shower, they lock in your color to prevent it from fading. Aveda’s Color Conserve shampoo and conditioner is always recommended for my guests. We also have Regular Color Protect, an awesome item that works like a raincoat for your body! This seals all in and gives the paint a perfect shine. Fashion colors are a great way to reinvent your look and style! Life with COLOR is more enjoyable.
This look is very well preserved! It’s a beautiful color, but to be this light you must have a good scalp. You are going through a heavy lightening session with a hair color lightener to almost platinum lift your hair. I recommend you use a dark conditioner and a purple shampoo most certainly. To get this messy feel, I also suggest a lightweight matte pomade. It’s more of an edgy look so I’d recommend it to someone who’s more trendy and fashion-forward who definitely loves pushing the limit!
Hairstylist / make-up artist Trendy Ash Grey
Hairstylist / make-up artist Trendy Ash Grey
QA How would you describe this look? It’s trendy and enjoyable this smoky gray paint. I feel that men can go with any kind of color that’s my favorite thing about men’s hair coloring. Whether it’s a simple basic t-shirt or blue jeans or a suit and tie, I picture them matching their hair with their everyday wardrobe. Any suggestions that someone feels about it? I enjoy using Eufora goods because they are paraben-free and sulfate-free. Together with their Color Lock, I suggest Eufora Moisture Intense shampoo and conditioner. These products will add moisture and shine as they will seal the cuticula for longer to keep the color vibrant. If they want it, every guy can have that color. Just be mindful that it takes a trip to the salon every four weeks to have this paint. Instagram How would you describe this look?
Adventurous Slicked Back Yellow Blonde

I’d describe this look as fun, adventurous and edgy while still looking clean and professional. The suggestions that someone feels about it? The look can be higher maintenance or low maintenance if you use it as it grows out for different types of looks. Once it grows out, it can take on a whole new look with some roots. Dare to change things differently is fun! As for styling, for a more relaxed and fun style, you can keep it professional and neat or wear it a little messy and textured. There are pomades of all kinds of textures. Redken Rewind is a personal favorite of mine. Blue and Green on Natural Black Hair

Owner / Master Stylist Instagram QA How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it?This look is the risk-taker and the rebel for the rule breaker. Pulling off a bold color requires confidence and you can expect a lot of attention (especially from women)! This style and cut with a straight or slightly wavy texture works well with both fine and thick hair. With curly hair, this look would be very difficult to achieve. This look requires maintenance in styling as well as changing the cut and color so it’s best for the man who regularly visits his salon.
Neutral Icy Silver
Future Professional QA How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? I’d describe it as a silver neutral icy. It’s about to be cool, but there’s just a touch of ashy tones so it’s more silver-gray than a pale blue color. His neutrality is my favorite thing about it. It’s a silver claim that could be over the top without the trendy blue or violet pop. Which items do you suggest that this look be created and maintained? What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? Silver blonde is a color of high maintenance and a healthy canvas is needed to start. Lightening hair will improve its fragility, so it can be a journey if you have a low natural level that reaches a 9 or 10 (required for this look). You have to be a customer willing to keep up with the service! Root touch-ups and the right materials are both a must to preserve the voice. The color in your skin tone can bring out the redness so be aware of it.
Edgy Brownish Grey

Hair Colorist / Hairstylist Instagram QA How would you describe this look and what is your favorite? This look I’d describe as edgy, clean cut. I love it’s not the cut / color of your average people and it’s got the personality of this company written all over it. Holding his hair on top longer permitted a color to last more than three weeks before cutting it out. To create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend? He should blast it with a round brush on a daily basis and use Keune Fiber Wax. Styling shouldn’t take longer than 10 minutes. For shaved sides, a sleek look for low maintenance is possible. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? For someone who wants to have a hair style but doesn’t want to spend too much time in it, I suggest this look. This look can be fun, but it can also be professional and very flexible, which is why I love it. The color adds all the requisite style. I’d just cut it on someone with thicker hair to maintain a full look. For anyone who loves to get up and go, it’s perfect.
To create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend? Next I bleached the mid-shaft of his hair with Lanza Healing Color Decolorizer and then used Lanza color blue and violet vibes for melting. I sent him home with Vivids blue and purple shampoo to keep the look. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? This works best for people with a darker skin tone to melt the peacock. It is high maintenance, but with the Vivids shampoo, it is easier to maintain. I recommend this only to people willing to use shampoos whenever they wash their hair. I recommend this look (or something similar) to 100 percent for anyone who wants something special that sets them apart from everyone else!
