Dramatic A-Line Bob

A with Makayla Hair Stylist Stylist Stylist How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? I recommend using whatever iron works best for you to build a beach wave. Personally, I enjoy using a straightener because it lasts a lot longer for me and my customers always love it. They are shocked at how well even days later their waves remain in place and still look good. I run my fingers through as soon as the curls cool, then add some pomade and airspray to the finished look. For anyone who loves a sweet and sassy look, I suggest this look without ever taking it. With young women, it’s a polished and elegant look and a casual look with older women. Effortless Shag

A with Rainer Schneck Salon Owner Style Creator How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? For about 80% of my clients, I use our own Pin Salon Rootbooster. It’s a light spray-on mousse that gives a lot of power. Like Kerastase Nectar Thermique, I always use a heat shield. It’s by far my pick! It’s super light, making the hair shiny, but not fluffy. Typically I finish it with Kevin Murphy’s Un. Dressed and Bedroom. Hair. This look is ideal for customers who want a very flexible, simple, effortless look. This works great with a natural wave and consumers who have a decent amount of hair because a lot of weight can be removed. It can also be used on finer hair as it gives the structure and shape of the skin! This look works on almost all shapes of the face because it is very easy to adjust the length and framing. This works great on clients who like to use their natural texture for special events, but also like to style their hair. Effortless hair is fun to replicate sexy and simple!

A with Cole Designer / Product Educator Style Creator How would you describe this look and what is your favorite? Mostly for ease and flexibility, this look was made. My clients are the guy who wants to be able to wear their natural texture or use a warm tool so we went to the hollows of the cheek in mid-length with framing. For lots of movement, we kept the layers soft but broken. I love it because it’s scary and emotional. We just softened around her head in a couple of light curls on top.

A with the designer Laura Myers Hairstylist and Co-Owner of the Salon How would you characterize this look and what is your favorite? The classic blunt bob is sleek and everybody looks great. It’s a look that’s solid and striking, polished and effortless. The fringey bang draws attention to her beautiful eyes and her natural beauty is brought out by the ash blonde hue. My favorite thing about this look is that it adds to the personal style of anyone. This cut flatters everybody from polished to hipster. We used Unite Hair Blow Set cocktailed with Unite U Oil starting with wet hair and then blow dried with a large round brush to give it lift and smoothness before going over with a flat iron. With a circle, you can also add texture. Mist to finish with a texturizing mist. The great thing about a bob is that depending on your face shape and hair texture, it can work for everyone with variations. For example, someone with a round face requires a long bob and someone with curly hair needs layers and more structure to prevent a triangle head. It’s a timeless cut that’s never out of style.

Iconic Shag

A with fashion designer Alexus Estelle Colorist Stylist How would you describe this look and what is your favorite? This is a shag of modernity. My favorite thing about this style is that the classic 70s haircut is a modernized version. You can also use bangs to wear this look. It is great for any customer who has tried the haircut of the lob and wants to try something different. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? A volumizing paste is added to the root on dry hair. I used Powder from Oribe Swept Up Size. I like adding a material to give hold and memory to finish the look. Spray your favorite spray for performance! I used the Oribe Dry Spray Texturizer. This style is ideal for all texture and face shapes of the hair and can be worn long or short. It is flexible and can be changed by customizing the cut to any face shape. Holding the layers on the longer side, but proportional to the distance, is critical. If on the thicker side of your hair, add lots of layers to remove weight. If your hair is fine to medium, apply choppy layers to your stylist to establish motion and texture.

A Jasmine Senior Stylist Stylist Stylist Stylist How would you characterize this look and what is your favorite? My favorite thing about this textured collarbone-length cut is how weight is removed from her thick hair. Dense hair, the shorter it is cut, may feel more bulky or bubbly. I used concave textures and strong texture and tucked away a slightly separated undercut at her nape by razoring a line about 3/4 of an inch shorter than the circumference and inserting graduation.Textured Beach Wave

A Kendall Marie Hair Designer (Color Specialist) with fashion maker How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? To style your hair like this you need a flat iron and hairspray texture spray that prevents the heat from a smoothing cream / oil. For anyone with any face form and hair texture, beach waves can be. Depending on the length of your hair, for a more effortless wave, you can go up to a 1.5 to 2-inch curling iron. This is, of course, much easier to achieve on naturally wavy hair or hair that just holds a well curl. Help the above goods keep it and last the whole day!

A designer Levi Myers Haircut Color Nice and Short Hair Professional How would you describe this look and what is your favorite? This look I describe as a thick, textured bob. This client has lots of hair on her head so I used several techniques to reduce weight and volume from the mid-lengths through the ends to create more of a one-length appearance. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? At the roots like Kevin Murphy’s Body Builder or Sebastian’s Whipped Cream, I like to start with a volume mousse. Based on whether a bright or matte finish is needed, a lightweight cream paste or even a soft clay can be pleasant to distinguish and define texture in the finish. I think this basic style is very versatile. Practically anyone can wear a long bob to customize with subtle variations. I often examine the hair type and face shape of the client and then ask questions during the consultation about their beauty routine and lifestyle. I change the cut to suit her look and lifestyle. Part of what’s so perfect about this style is that it gives her an easy-to-style fresh current look while retaining her ability to pull it back when she needs to. It’s easy to breeze!

This hair color is ideal for a customer who wants a low-maintenance hairstyle that doesn’t need much attention all year round.

I love that this balayage provides a lived-in look that’s so trendy right now, really sunkissed. It also provides the customer with the convenience of less maintenance, which is very attractive to many. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? Balayage is a great look for anyone who just gets into coloring their hair with a crazy busy schedule as well as anyone on the go. It’s also perfect for people with hair of all types. The free-form painting enables you to achieve medium, moderate or full exposure depending on your desired result. Generally speaking, this coloring technique is a great option for so many people!

Balayage Babe

A with Kelsey VanderEnde Hairstylist Style Creator How would you characterize this look and what’s your favorite? This is one of my favourites. I love this look because it’s the perfect blend of natural hair and scanning. Balayage is the perfect way to add lightness and dimension to your hair without coloring and lightening your whole body. All I love about this look is her hair’s length as well. When she wants it, it’s still long enough for her to pull it back and make it much easier to put curls to get things ready in the morning quickly and easily. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated?

A model Lauren Stylist / Hair Extraordinaire / Color Expert How would you describe this look and what is your favorite? This look can be summed up as a soft dimension that looks natural. This was a first lightening session in her quest to achieve blonde hair for this company. This look, however, would also be perfect as a final result of light! What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? I would suggest that you ask your colorist for soft baby lights and subtle scanning combined from the front of the head to the back. I would also like to ask your stylist to change the combination technique to match your facial structure and to modify the color to flatter your skin tone! While we haven’t highlighted a large portion of her body, I still suggest using a color-safe shampoo, a nourishing hair mask (once a week) and a soothing regular water! The position of this color is flattering on almost anyone. A hybrid of babylight / balayage can be used from almost black to blonde in almost every base color! To enhance their unique facial features, the starting point of the highlights can differ from customer to customer. For example, some customers look best with highlights highlighting their brow bone while others look best with highlights highlighting their cheekbones or jawline. Warm Balayage

A with Mandy DeVo Hair and Make-up Artist Style Creator How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite about it? For back to school, the great thing about this color is that it’s nice to add light. For fabulously fresh hair, girls can go back to school! What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? The curl was created with a 1-inch Hot Tools Marcel curling iron. Aveda Damage Remedy and Aveda Volumizing Tonic were also used. I brushed the waves out with the Wetbrush Pro once dried and set and finished with the Aveda Control Force. For someone who loves a busy lifestyle, I recommend this style. She visits the salon every 8-12 weeks with this easy low maintenance color / cut. She can get ready to work out this beauty wedding and everything in between. Texturized layers

A style creator Grace Hill Senior Stylist and Colorist How would you describe this look and what is your favorite?

A Miriam McNamara DevaCurl Stylist Stylist How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? The flow and balance is my favorite thing about this look! I love the waterfall look of their curls cascading with no excess weight weighing them down. This is a long layered haircut at its most simple but it can be difficult to control its natural volume with hair so thick and curly. What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? This look is built with easy wash-and-go convenience to maximize the impact of her beautiful natural texture, which is perfect for early school mornings! For optimal moisture shine and volume control, I suggest DevaCurl products. With No Poo and One Condition Decadence, I washed and conditioned her hair and styled it with Styling Cream for moisture and shine and Ultra Defining Gel for a soothing and strong hold that will last the whole day. For any face shape, I suggest this style and for anyone looking for a plain, easy-to-style look that maintains its length. If appropriate, you can still pull it up in a ponytail, but when you want to wear those curls, it’s easy to make it look amazing!

Blunt Precision Bob

A with Mona Lee Co-Owner fashion maker This look is a blunt precision bob with a new millennium vintage retro. The flexibility is my favorite thing about the look. This particular style is actually a combination of two haircuts. You get a smooth and blunt one-length look that’s sleek and modern when it comes to the whole perimeter. Then I was able to bring hair and bangs from the top section and break into the dramatic angle we all want to see. This offers mobility, while still being able to pull back into a bun, to have a sharp angle and long hair around the head. What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? The best thing about this look is the versatility. My favorite styling technique for any of my bobs is to add some kind of texture product into the hair. It gives the right amount of texture and size for the appearance of the same day or the second day. I used Loma’s Nourishing Treatment Oil for a heat-protective and a smooth finish at the ends, then the Sugar Texturizing Spray of Number 4 Haircare for volume and texture at the core. I recommend this look to someone who likes or is willing to commit to styling their hair whether it’s a smooth iron curling iron blow dryer etc. This look would be perfect for someone who wants a little volume in the back but still wants to preserve a lot of length around their head. It’s perfect for most styles of thick hair.

Sweetheart Shag

For a thick hair client who wants to get rid of some of that extra hair weight, I suggest this slice. It’s also perfect on a client that has some hair wave because it’s supposed to be styled like a messy wave. With plenty of slice cuts, this break is done so that even layers do not exist. Because it’s supposed to be a little messy, it would be great for a client who doesn’t have much time to style their hair but still wants to look like they’re putting time into styling.

Classic Student Bob

A creator-style Wesley Hanlon Creative Director How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? The look is a classic bob with a fringe and a touch of layers. The reason I chose to do this look was because I wanted to design a cut to make her eyes even more striking. That’s what I really like about this break. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? For heat control or leave-in conditioner spray, I suggest a light lotion to offer shine but keep things clean and free to move. Anyone can fit this cut, but your face shape should be long enough to fit because it closes your face when choosing a heavy fringe. That said, if you have a shorter rounder face, then I recommend the same cut minus the fringe or make the fringe soft and super light (no straight line). I think the bob is best suited to any lifestyle, because it’s a lifestyle-friendly look and clean. © 2019 Colors Hair Style Formal
