Nonetheless, I do not recommend this look for someone with a short forehead on a round face or someone with a pronounced jawline as this style of cut will emphasize such features and produce an unbalanced image. To my guests who have fine or thin hair and want more structure or weight, I absolutely love this hairstyle. Use Aveda Pure Abundance Style-Prep spray, which is a thermal safe and volumizing spray, I towel the hair dry and blast the hair dry. I apply Aveda Phomollient Styling Foam a lightweight mousse when the hair is about 80 percent dry to give the root it’s most lift and complete the dry blast. To detail and finish the look, I love using Aveda Control Paste to accentuate texture and identify pieces, particularly through the fringe, to create a more piecey look. To put it all in place, I’m going to spray hairspray with Aveda Control Force to give the look all day hold, particularly as it can be wet and windy here in South Texas.

My client featured in this photo is a busy mother of three, but she still wanted to look edgy and wanted her hair to be easier and faster to style before the regular start of her hectic routine! Small to long layers give you a trendy and chic bang that you can wear in many ways. This haircut has lots of texture adding weight and allowing the hair to shift in any direction! Good to look dirty. The endless style possibilities are my favorite part about this haircut. You always have to remember the face shape when choosing the ideal pixie. Angles may be slimming even in the hair. Thickness and thickness in how long or short a cut should be may play a huge role!
