Make sure that maintenance appointments for 4-6 weeks will work well with their schedule to ensure the hair color is well kept and vibrant. Make sure you do not wash with cooler water every day (2-3 washes a week max) using sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners. This haircut was created using a razor, so I would prefer a classic shear haircut for customers with a finer texture. Number one advice is to love and have fun with your new look!
Lime Green

A with Owner / Stylist This is what I call witch meets highlighter. You can see the darker greens mixed into the green shade of the electric highlighter. I used the game-changing Pulp Riot color line to create it. What I really find incredible about a bright neon green is that it’s certainly a show-stopper. This girl is a turner in the head. You see this bright green and it’s going to flourish everyone she’s special cool and certainly someone you want to meet. Declaration greens are certainly original and unique she has a customizable green bangin that you won’t see on everybody else. It’s certainly something like a neon green that fits my babies with an edge. It’s a color that attracts attention. Most importantly, I think that with vivids everyone looks amazing. Not only are they obviously fun, but they can be as loud or reserved as you like. This lime green can cover ahead (like my client here) or it can be placed for just a fun color pop as peek-a-boo highlights. So here’s what I say at the end of the day when choosing green or any other bright color: check out your stylists. Look at their vibrant work in the social media. Stay prepared to ask questions for a consultation! And always bring in your own personality.
Master Stylist Forest Green
A This look is winter green. Think thick evergreens deep in the north-west Pacific forest against the winter’s cool back-drop reflection. For the style, for this rich classic look, I just made a traditional round-brush dry blow for volume and smoothness with a more classic finish. It’s the joy of a color that’s fantasy / vivid without having to be in your eyes. If I want to retain any dream colors like green hair, I always tell my customers to avoid excessive heat styling for the first week or two and to wash with cool water as warm / hot water exposes the hair cuticula and strips away color as well as any sulfate shampoo strips color. Vivid colors look their best for the first 3 weeks depending on how often a customer washes their hair but can remain fresher for longer if they do not wash their hair too often with cool water and use sulfate-free products and custom color conditioners. That particular color tends to look better on more tan-olive skin tone but it can look great on anybody because it’s all about how your hair makes you feel and how you own it!
Purple and Green Balayage Hair

A with Color Expert / Professional Stylist For my green-loving guest this was a look influenced by nature that we lovingly called Forest Nymph. With Pulp Riot as my painting our palette was completely personalized with the use of 8 different colors (Noir Absinthe Area 51 Nightfall Lemon Firefly Aquatic Nirvana) using the contrast between rich greens and el. Each stroke of the brush and hair flip exposes something else and that’s the best part! Such greens won’t disappoint anyone who wants to invest in not only the initial operation, but also the proper home care products. (I suggest Pulp Riot’s color to cover Bangkok Tokyo shampoo conditioner and Berlin dry shampoo in between wash days.) Seven weeks later, at two washes a week, this beauty always rocks its vibrancy. I would love to have fun colored hair I just couldn’t pull it off, I hear so often, but rainbow hair is for everyone. I have customers over 60 who ask to be male and female unicorns. If you’re planning to dip a toe into green hair but you’re hesitant to ask your stylist to begin with some secret or peekaboo boards. It is also a perfect way to ease the unusual by having a natural colored root with either a melt balayage or shadow.
Pink and Green

Show off your mermaid hair on long, flowing locks with flattering beach waves. For this look, certainly all the mermen will dive in.
Bold Green Dip Dye
A with Owner I have a lot of customers who are looking for something edgy and vibrant as well as low maintenance. One of my favorite colors to do is light shadows. The normal root forgives growing out and they are not bound to come back for a touch-up every 4 weeks! The Absinthe of Pulp Riot pops up against the dark foundation, and you don’t see it every day! The coolest thing about this look is that for her to maintain it is edgy but still easy. I ask any of my clients I recommend vividly to buy Overtone in their shade. (In this case Ultra Green) A water conditioner allows them to keep the color in the shower themselves and it will last as long as they continue to use it! For any vivid colors, this is a must!
Green Hair Pastel

A with Riverside Ca Hairdresser Really high maintenance is the green hair color. For the vivids to pick on, your hair has to be blonde. It is appropriate for those with darker hair lightning sessions. Maintaining the green hair needs a shampoo and conditioner for color treatment. Eufora’s Bodyfying shampoo, for example, has a vibrant color complex that helps prolong the color’s existence and I highly recommend it. That being said, you still don’t want to wash your hair and your best friend is dry shampoo (Davines hair freshener is my favorite). When drying, make sure that it is washed with cooler water to keep the color longer.

/ Education Director This appearance is casual and unrestrained. A modern, easy-going and daring person reflects the cut and color. How the look speaks directly to her personality is the coolest thing about it. I love how flyaway and delicate the curls are and how perfectly the color matches her skin tone. Next, prepare your hair with a treatment like Olaplex 3 before visiting your paint. Doing several treatments over a couple of weeks before completing their color and then doing daily treatments. I suggest a cream cleaner as well. For curly hair and color-treated hair, I love New Wash. Very soft on hair color and scalp and hair nourishing. This makes color stay longer and enjoys it by twists. In one step, it cleans and conditions. Although the look shouts quickly, the hue of the green hair needs lightening of the scalp every 6 weeks. At each lighting, the color will be refreshed and, if necessary, could be refreshed between visits. It will disappear faster than a darker shade because it’s a pastel. Cleaning is best only once a week or when required to make the color last longer and help keep the curls from losing the oils they need. And having it wet will take out every time a tiny bit of color. The customer had a warm tone walking in. Instead I thought of putting a cool ash tone to give it a fresh look and it’s green ash! Generally a hot tone like red / yellow / orange looks bored if you keep it for a long time. Any full head color is bored, so I decided to make her ombre hair. I love the hair cut I made for her because the long and defined layers bring a lightness to her hair that makes it much easier to curl and wave alone. Just one or two scrunch and she’s fine to go! I’d say that not everyone can bring this hair color. One’s going to have to wear makeup to avoid looking white as it’s a cool tone. It will make you look white and delicate without makeup.
Blue and Green Balayage

A with Cosmetologist / Barber A multidimensional blue to green balayage look. In reality, her roots are her natural dark brown color and are highlighted to melt in the blue. For achieve the melt, we used a pure green and yellow dark blue. I had to take into account the amount of bleeding of color that would occur during the rinse, which is why I used yellow at the ends. The yellow became the ideal lime green by the end of the rinse and shampoo. I made a hairline bob for her split. I thought the graduated layers were going to work well with the color making the hair stack on themselves. The biggest thing about Julia’s hair is how we can turn something that would usually be very high maintenance into something that she can wear with it still look great for months! This look is something that you need to take care of using the right products and is expensive to maintain. Because this look requires very light blonde skin, it requires multiple bleaching services before the green can even start. The bleach will make the hair brittle, so at home I recommend daily deep haircuts and protein masks. I usually suggest for the next appointment anywhere from 6-12 weeks depending on how color stays on your hair and how quickly it grows. Julia uses a conditioner containing black pigment. She gets some color back in there every time she shampoos. This look is definitely not for everyone, but on the right client, it can be very fun! Maintaining the integrity of the skin and the time and money invested in the salon is the most important things before considering green hair! Mint Green

In a textured bob shape, this look is a silver mint green. I love this ultra-light pastel tone’s reflection! It’s stunning and brief pastel colors. A color like this needs the lightest blonde undertones possible and it will change and fade every time you shampoo the hair. Usually a color like this will last 4-6 shampoos with proper products and home care and then the hair will return to blonde.
