The Fugitive 1947 – Movie The Fugitive 1947

Directed by John Ford in 1947 and starring Henry Fonda, the film is based on a novel by Graham Greene entitled “The Power and the Glory.”

The film is set in Mexico, at the time of the Revolution. The Government of the country has decided that it will prohibit the teaching of religion in schools, which motivates a priest who does not agree with this decision to face this cause.

The priest is persecuted by the police, forcing him to take refuge in another country. However, not long after, he will return incognito, posing as a peasant.
