Robbie Coltrane is a charismatic and well-known Scottish-born actor, famous for both his television and feature-length performances.

Anthony Robert McMillan was born on March 30, 1950 in the city of Rutherglen in the region of South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Coltrane is the son of Ian McMillan, a general surgeon and Jean, piano teacher and has an older sister (Annie) and a younger sister (Jane).
