Michael Jordan’s Steak House Chicago is just creeping onto the list at number 20. He’s built an empire in the 20 years since Jordan played his last game for the Chicago Bulls that encompasses everything from books to trainers to cars to steaks. With a menu packed full of fresh seasonal ingredients bold vibrant flavors and enough meat to meet the protein needs of a whole baseball team his steakhouse on 505 N Michigan Ave is a beacon for resident tourist fans as well as the plain hungry alike. If you’re visiting don t miss Prime Delmonico’s signature dish-marinated in ginger for 45 days and served with a sweet balsamic vinegar jus it’s guaranteed you will be back for more.

Along with the steaks food options include beef tartare with malt vinegar chips crab avocado jumbo white asparagus served with duck egg rasped parmesan and black truffle juice and luxurious enough desserts to satisfy even the sweetest tooth. If you want to go on an all-out meat binge don’t skip the appropriately named Carnivore a massive selection of meat consisting of 8 oz portions of filet bison wagyu and venison (although you better check it with your bank first the undeniably huge plate will set you back a whopping $235). 15.

The restaurant, owned by chef Danny Grant (the proud owner of two Michelin stars), has been offering Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood residents the opportunity to experience steak at a luxury level since 2015. The seasonal menu includes highlights such as the Fire-Roasted Seafood Tower, along with a vast selection of wines and a number of dry-aged steaks served with imaginatively conceived accompaniments from local sources. One word of warning- while certainly delicious Maple and Ash dinner doesn’t come for the cheap with some steaks going up for $100.

Local residents were upset about any changes to their beloved steak house when Morton changed ownership back in 2012. Fortunately the concerns proved unwarranted: the same butter-soft porterhouse garlic shrimps and sumptuous key lime pie are still served on the restaurant for 7 years. The Brazilian churrascaria offers a vibrant menu of fresh, savory dishes influenced by Brazilian cuisine. The meaty choices range from Medalhoes Com Bacon (bacon-wrapped steak) to Costela (beef ribs with a crust of rock salt). The charcuterie platter (a vibrant mix of cured meats and aged cheeses served alongside fig jam caper berries and whole grain mustard) is highly recommended if you would like to try something different. El Che Steakhouse Bar is an unforgettable experience. Take a seat and watch the talented chefs over the custom-built heart cook up a storm. If you can drag your eyes to the menu, you will find it loaded with a South American flair of meaty treats. If surfing and turf are yours, then trust me when I say you don’t want Joe’s Seafood Prime Steak and Stone Crab stay. It’s enough stone crabs to make a grown man weep while his steaks are among the finest you’ve ever eaten. Just make sure you don’t fill up so much on the hands you have to skip dessert- even if you left your sweet tooth at home you kick yourself for not trying the sublime peach huckleberry pie a divine mixture of summer peaches and huckleberries overlooking a traditional pie crust and serving a la mode.
